Dear CCS Families, 

We are grateful your child/ren are at Canterbury Classical School!  We are committed to providing a rich classical education, both through academic and experiential learning.  As such, our curriculum includes opportunities for your student/s to go on regular field trips with their class.  The majority of these field trips occur on a single day, and this form grants your permission for your child/ren to participate in those excursions during the 2024-2025 school year.  

As a parent/guardian, you are able to opt out of any field trip for your student by communicating with their teacher as they send out information for different trips.  Otherwise, your consent here allows your student/s to attend any single day field trip over the course of the current school year.

I understand that by signing this form, I am consenting for my child/ren to attend any single day field trip that occurs off campus of Canterbury Classical School during the 2024-2025 school year, unless I contact the field trip organizer/teacher to opt out.




In case of emergency:

 CCS will use contact information including emergency contacts as entered in your student’s registration forms. Should you like to provide CCS with additional contact information please email the school at info@canterburyclassicalschool.com.

We understand that the necessary arrangements, plans, and precautions will be taken for the care and supervision of any student during the trip. All chaperones  and drivers will be thoroughly vetted with background checks and given pertinent instructions upon their commitment. 



Field Trip Conduct Agreement:

All school rules and regulations apply to CCS field trips. There may be additional rules for venues which will be clearly communicated upon arrival to the venues. See student handbook for specifics. 

CCS students must understand that as a representative of CCS in our community, they are expected to maintain behavior according to scriptural guidance.  CCS students will remain kind and use good manners when interacting with the public.

If at any point, a student is unable to follow school rules and the communicated rules of the venue, the student's parents will be called immediately to arrange transportation home at the cost of the parent.

Any student with excess disciplinary issues prior to the field trip may be excluded from the trip.  Any funds paid will not be refunded for students excluded because of behavior.

We understand and agree to abide by the Field Trip Conduct Agreement.
