Waiver of Liability for Seminar Participation

By enrolling in and participating in any seminar, course, or training session conducted by Defensive Skills Academy, LLC, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

I understand that participation in defensive training activities involves inherent risks, including, but not limited to, physical exertion, potential for minor or serious injury, and the use of training equipment. I voluntarily assume all such risks associated with my participation.

I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Defensive Skills Academy, LLC, its instructors, employees, agents, representatives, facility, facility owners / representatives and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or illness that may occur during or resulting from my participation in any Defensive Skills Academy, LLC seminar or training activity, whether caused by the negligence of the Academy, a student or otherwise.

I affirm that I am in good health and physically capable of participating in the activities offered. I understand that it is my responsibility to inform the Defensive Skills Academy, LLC of any medical conditions, limitations, or concerns prior to participation. I agree to comply with all safety instructions, policies, and procedures provided by Defensive Skills Academy, LLC and its instructors / representatives.

I understand that this waiver is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the state in which the seminar is held. If any portion of this waiver is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

By registering for and attending the seminar, I certify that I have read, understood, and voluntarily accept the terms of this waiver of liability.
