Open Water Scuba DiverRegistration & Agreement PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AS YOU WILL BE BOUND TO THIS AGREEMENT. Course Agreement 1. The eLearning course and all associated liability and medical waivers (prompted by the training agency upon completion of the course) must be fully completed and the Course Report emailed to SCUBA Network at least 24 hours before the first pool session. Failure to meet this deadline will result in forfeiture of both pool sessions. Two new pool sessions must be purchased at $199 each before training can resume. No exceptions will be made.
2. The following equipment is required: scuba quality mask, snorkel, fins, booties, and student kit. These items must be purchased or rented prior to the start of the course. All equipment must be inspected and fitted at a SCUBA Network location no later than close of business the day before the first pool session.SCUBA Network reserves the right to reject any equipment deemed unsatisfactory or unsuitable for use, at our sole discretion. Arriving without a completed gear fitting, or with equipment that has been rejected, will result in forfeiture of both pool sessions. Two new pool sessions must be purchased at $199 each before training can resume. No exceptions will be made. Any equipment rented from SCUBA Network must be returned to the same location the day after class is concluded. 3. I can swim 200 meters OR snorkel 300 meters continuously without stopping and tread water/float for 10 minutes continuously without stopping. I understand that this basic watermanship is a pre-requisite for SCUBA certification and will be examined prior to any scuba skills being taught. If I am unable to complete the minimum watermanship standards, both pool sessions will be forfeited. Two new pool sessions must be purchased at $199 each before training can resume. Inability to meet the minimum swim requirements does not qualify as grounds for a refund of any course fees already paid or any gear purchased.
4. I will attend the required 2 class sessions and the required 2 pool sessions of the Open Water SCUBA course beginning on May 1, 2026 costing $550.
5. Important information is covered in every class, pool, and open water session. Because diving builds from foundational to more complex concepts, I understand I must attend every session or my training will be incomplete. I understand I must successfully complete a separate, final evaluation to be certified as a scuba diver. The instructor, at their sole discretion, makes final judgment as to my competency to dive safely and be awarded certification or advance to the open water portion of the course. Additional class sessions are available for $99.
6. After successful completion of the confined water course, a series of open water dives are required to become certified, at an additional training cost. Equipment rentals for open water dives are available. Referrals to a dive operator for open water dives are provided free of charge, but will require a registration fee paid directly to the agency upon certification.
7. Six (6) months from date of purchase, if not redeemed on the agency website, SCUBA Network reserves the right to recycle eLearning codes to another paying customer. After 1 year without being redeemed, a new code must be purchased at $149.All phases of the course — Academic, Confined Water, and Open Water — must be completed within one calendar year from date of signup. Failure to complete within one calendar year will result in retaking the final exam and additional pool training prior to advancing to open water dives. I understand this additional training will incur additional costs.
Reschedule & Cancellation Policy Cancellations and Course Withdrawal: - eLearning codes are non-refundable under any circumstances.
- After the first session begins or 90 days from date of purchase: no refund.
