Sportsman’s Elite – RMA Terms & ConditionsCustomer Acknowledgment and Agreement
By submitting this RMA request, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions set forth by Sportsman’s Elite regarding firearm returns, inspections, and any applicable fees. 1. Eligibility and Authorization
All firearms sold by Sportsman’s Elite are sold AS-IS and are non-returnable once they have been transferred to the buyer’s designated FFL and the buyer has taken possession. Returns are only accepted for firearms believed to be defective, and the buyer must contact Sportsman’s Elite within seven (7) days of taking possession to initiate a return. An RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number must be issued by Sportsman’s Elite prior to any return, and no firearm may be shipped back without a valid RMA number. Unauthorized or unapproved returns will be refused. Once the RMA is approved, the customer will receive an email containing the RMA number and detailed shipping instructions. The firearm must be returned exactly as instructed and remain in its original configuration without modifications or alterations by any party other than the manufacturer or Sportsman’s Elite. 2. Shipping and Inspection Procedure
Once an RMA is issued, Sportsman’s Elite will provide a prepaid shipping label to cover the cost of shipping the firearm from the customer’s FFL to our facility for inspection. All returned items must be properly packaged, insured for their declared value, and shipped according to the RMA instructions. Upon receipt, Sportsman’s Elite will inspect and evaluate the firearm. If it is determined to be defective, Sportsman’s Elite will, at its discretion, repair, replace, or refund the firearm at no cost to the buyer, including covering the cost of return shipping back to the customer’s FFL. 3. Fees and Non-Defective Findings
If, after inspection, the firearm is found not to be defective, the customer will be responsible for a 25% restocking fee and for the shipping costs Sportsman’s Elite incurred to retrieve the firearm. The original outbound shipping fees paid at the time of purchase are non-refundable. Sportsman’s Elite reserves the right to collect these fees by issuing an invoice, charging the customer’s original payment method, or issuing a partial refund and deducting the appropriate amounts to cover all applicable costs. These fees must be satisfied prior to the firearm being released or any refund being processed. 4. Liability and Responsibility
Sportsman’s Elite is not responsible for unauthorized returns, improperly shipped items, or packages lost or damaged in transit. Any shipping damage or loss claims must be filed directly with the carrier. The customer is responsible for properly packaging and insuring the firearm per the RMA instructions. 5. General Terms
By signing below, I acknowledge that all information provided in my RMA request is accurate and truthful. I understand that Sportsman’s Elite reserves the right to refuse inspection or service for any firearm that has been tampered with, modified, or damaged through misuse or neglect. I further acknowledge that Sportsman’s Elite reserves the right to recover any applicable fees as outlined above, and that submission of this RMA form constitutes my authorization for such charges if necessary. |
