Shooting Range Waiver and Release of Liability

In consideration for being allowed to use the facilities and participate in shooting activities with Firearms Safety First, LLC., hereinafter referred to as the “Shooting Range”, I, the undersigned participant, hereby agree to the following terms and conditions:

Rules and Regulations: I understand that the safe and responsible use of firearms is of the utmost importance. By participating in shooting activities with Firearms Safety First, LLC., I acknowledge and agree to abide by all rules and regulations established by Firearms Safety First, LLC., and the host Ranges for the safety of all participants. Failure to adhere to these rules and regulations may result in my immediate removal from the premises without refund or credit.

1. Assumption of Risks: I understand and acknowledge that the use of firearms and participation in shooting activities involves inherent risks, including but not limited to the risk of personal injury, death, property damage, psychological trauma, property damage, and exposure to loud noises. I voluntary assume all such risk and agree to use the Host Shooting Range facilities at my own risks.

2. Release of Liability: I hereby release, waive, and discharge Firearms Safety First, LLC., its owners, operators, employees, agents, and affiliated parties (collectively referred to as “Released Parties”), from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, injury, damage, or harm that I may suffer while using the Host Shooting Range facilities, including those caused by the negligence or misconduct of the Released Parties.

3. Indemnifications: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any and all claims, actions, suits, costs, expenses, damages, or liabilities, including attorney’s fees, arising out of or related to my use of the Host Shooting Range facilities, including any claims brought by third parties, to the extent such claims are not directly caused by the gross negligence or intentional misconduct of the Released Parties.

4. Firearms Safety: I understand and agree to abide by all safety rules, regulations, and instructions provided by Firearms Safety First, LLC., and the Host Shooting Range staff. I acknowledge that failure to follow these rules may result in my immediate removal from the premises.

5. Tracer, Incendiary Rounds and Armor Piercing Rounds: I acknowledge tracer, incendiary rounds and armor piercing rounds are NOT permitted on the premises of the Host Shooting Range facilities or with Firearms Safety First, LLC., and I agree to not use the previously mentioned forbidden ammunition.

6. Medical Treatment: In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize Firearms Safety First, LLC., or the Host Shooting Range staff to seek and provide medical treatment for me as deemed necessary, and I agree to be financially responsible for any costs associated with such treatment.

7. Photography and Likeness: I consent to the use of any photographs, videos, or likenesses taken of me during my time with Firearms Safety First, LLC., and the Host Shooting Range for promotional or informational purposes by the Range or Firearms Safety First, LLC.

Applicable Law: This waiver and release shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which I the undersigned am located in, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. I AM AWARE THAT BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT, I AM WAIVING CERTAIN LEGAL RIGHTS I OR MY HEIRS, NEXT OF KIN, EXECUTORS, ADMINISTRATORS, AND ASSIGNS MAY HAVE AGAINST THE RELEASED PARTIES.
