Membership and Waiver of Liability

In consideration of my membership and intent of participating in the activities at North Jersey Gun Club Inc, DBA North Jersey Clay Target Club, on behalf of myself, my guests and family members on club grounds.

I understand I am fully responsible for the conduct and safety of my guests on the ground.

I Agree :

I will abide by all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, as well as the Constitution, Bylaws, rules and regulations of North Jersey Gun Club Inc DBA North Jersey Clay Target Club

I certify that the forgoing statements made by me are true. I am aware that if any of these statements made by me are willfully false, I may be subject to punitive actions as decided by North Jersey Clay Target Club Officers/Trustees.

By signing this Application I certify that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms listed in the release of liability on this application. I have been provided the opportunity to consult with counsel prior to signing a release. I have read it and agree to comply with all the range rules and regulations of North Jersey Clay Target Club.

I understand I am responsible for my actions and the conduct and safety of all guests on Club property and my membership can be suspended or cancelled for violation of safety rules or inappropriate conduct.

Release of Liability

1. This certification of release, is given by the Applicant, whose name and birth date appear on this waiver to North Jersey Clay Target Club, and all of its members, trustees, officers, employees, instructors, assigns, owners and successors.

2. I hereby acknowledge my understanding that the North Jersey Clay Target Club, does not assume any liability whatsoever for death, personal injury and/or property damage occurring in conjunction with any activity conducted on or about said club.

3. I agree and acknowledge the use of the range facilities is consideration for holding harmless and limiting North Jersey Clay Target Club’s Liability. I release and give up any and all claims that may accrue against North Jersey Clay Target Club. This releases all claims, including those of which I am not aware and those not mentioned in the release. This release applies to claims resulting from anything that may occur on North Jersey Clay Target Club’s property, anything that may occur as a result of club activities, or anything that may occur as a result of independent action by club members, trustees, officers, or employees.

4. Being aware of the North Jersey Clay Target Club’s disclaimer of liability and in consideration of the use of the facilities provided by the club, I hereby freely and voluntarily wave, relinquish and release any and all rights, claims and causes of action against the North Jersey Clay Target Club of whatever nature and source which may accrue to or exist in myself, my heirs, and my personal representatives as a result of death, personal injury, and/or property damage caused by the negligence or wrongful act or omission of North Jersey Clay Target Club’s, members, trustees, officers, or employees occurring in conjunction with and during any club usage or activity.

5. I release North Jersey Clay Target Club from claims regarding death, personal injury, and/or property damage caused by the negligence or wrongful act or omission of club members, trustees, officers, or employees occurring on or about club property, or in conjunction with, or during any club usage or activity. I am bound by this release. Anyone who succeeds to my rights and responsibilities, such as my heirs, my personal representative, or the executor(s) of my estate, it is also bound. This release is made for the benefit of North Jersey Clay Target Club and all who succeed to the rights and responsibilities of applicant, such as applicant’s successors, assigns, and heirs.

6. This release is for compensation of any and all injuries and damages I may sustain, known, unknown, or unknowable, and full compensation of any and all personal injuries, physical pain and suffering, mental suffering, psychological injuries, emotional distress, loss of consortium, services or society, loss of possession of firearms.

7. I agree and acknowledge that I am not prohibited under any Federal, State or local law and/or by any court order from the purchase, acquisition or possession of firearms.

8. I agree and acknowledge that firearms are inherently dangerous and can cause bodily injury or death. I, my agents, assigns, executors or administrators, for the considerations of being allowed to enter and use the facilities, guns, range and/or other products or services of North Jersey Clay Target Club, do now hereby absolutely and unequivocally release and hold harmless North Jersey Clay Target Club, its agents, members, trustees, officers, employees, instructors, assigns, owners and successors from any claim, demand, injury or liability, whether claimed by myself or another, arising out of such use of the facilities, products or services of North Jersey Clay Target Club I am fully aware that there are substantial risks to my person in the use of firearms, ammunition, shooting ranges and related products or services and that these risks include gunshot wounds, caused by myself or by another, or by ricochets, inhalation of lead vapor or other poisons, and damage to my hearing from high sound levels, or to my vision or skin from gunshot flashes and other dangers not listed herein. I do hereby accept full responsibility for my own safety. I understand that I must abide by the range rules and regulations, and wear eye and ear protection at all times that I am inside the range area. My signature and certification below confirm acceptance of the waiver of liability.

9. I agree and acknowledge that no person under the age of 18 shall possess, carry, fire or use a firearm except in the actual presence or under the direct supervision of his/her father, mother or legal guardian.

10. I have the policies of the club outlined on the website of North Jersey Clay Target Club (www.northjerseyclays.com) and understand that the board reserves the right to suspend or terminate my visit or membership for any violations.

11. If a minor is named in the application, I hereby affirm that I am the parent, legal guardian of said minor who is below the age of eighteen (18), and further affirm that on behalf of said minor, I absolutely and unequivocally agree on his/her behalf to the conditions of release stated in this application.

12. I have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this release. I have been provided the opportunity to consult with counsel prior to signing a release. I have read it and agree to comply with all the range rules and regulations of North Jersey Clay Target Club.
