San Antonio Valley Stables/Lohmeyer Trust
RELEASE AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

I/we hereby indemnify and agree by this signing to release June Lohmeyer, Dave Sherman and Merrily Morton and all associated persons from liability for any accident or injuries sustained by me, my employees, heirs, representatives, dependents, guests or animals. It is understood that wherever the words "Stable/Owner" are used in this agreement it includes landowners, stable owners, stable managers, trainers, independent contractors, clinicians, employees and any other individual related to ownership or management of the horse facilities called San Antonio Valley Stables.

As a horse owner, student, contestant, spectator, employee, independent contractor or parent, the undersigned recognizes that all equestrian related activities are extremely dangerous, that accidents involving horses are frequent, that the condition of the land is often hazardous, that the stables may flood, that stallions are dangerous, and the ring footing is rarely perfect. In light of this knowledge, the undersigned undertakes full responsibility for all harm that comes to them, their children, animals, associates and guests. With full knowledge, the undersigned releases the Stable/Owner from any and all responsibility for accidents and injuries thereto.

Signing this release implies that the undersigned have adequate medical and liability insurance/protection and that the Stable/Owner will assume no responsibility for harm to horse, rider or property. Losses occasioned by the injury or death of rider, spectator, guest, horse or other property is agree to be covered by the undersigned and it is further agreed that the undersigned and their heirs, representatives, dependents or guests shall have no right or action against the Stable/Owner, employees, independent contractors, land owners or any of the Stable/Owner's insurance carriers.

If the person is under 18 years of age, the signature of the parent or guardian indicates acceptance of responsibility by said parent or guardian and release of liability of the Stable/Owner and affiliated persons.

If damage is caused by or to the undersigned's property or horses, the undersigned takes full responsibility for damages to persons, property, or other horses and agrees to indemnify Stable/Owner against liability for any such damages.

The undersigned further agrees to indemnify Stable/Owner against any liability for physical loss or injury, or damage causing death, or making destruction necessary to horse(s) in Stable/Owner's care.

It is understood and agreed that the Stable/Owner assumes no responsibility for personal property of the undersigned and said property is stored on the premises at the sole risk of the undersigned.
