Puppy Buyer Agreement

1. Health at Time of Sale

The Breeder certifies that the puppy is being sold in good health, to the best of the Breeder’s knowledge.

The puppy:

• Has been examined by a licensed veterinarian prior to going home

• Has received its first set of vaccinations

• Has been dewormed every two (2) weeks since birth

• Shows no signs of contagious illness at the time of transfer

2. Buyer’s Veterinary Examination (72 Hours)

The Buyer agrees to take the puppy to their own licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving the puppy.

If a life‑threatening congenital defect is found, the Buyer may return the puppy with a written veterinary report.

Breeder will offer either:

• Replacement puppy of comparable quality (next available litter), OR

• Refund of purchase price (Breeder’s choice)

No medical reimbursement is provided. Buyer pays all vet costs after pickup.

3. Health Warranty Limits

This warranty does NOT cover:

• Parasites, coccidia, giardia, kennel cough

• Non‑life‑threatening illness

• Common puppy adjustment issues (diarrhea, stress)

• Injuries, allergies, behavior, or temperament

• Reaction to vaccines

• Growth variations

No hip or elbow guarantee can be given once the puppy leaves Breeder care due to uncontrolled diet and activity.

4. Buyer Responsibilities

Buyer agrees to:

• Provide appropriate food, clean water, and vet care

• Continue vaccinations and deworming

• Avoid excessive exercise and jumping while growing

• Maintain healthy weight

• Provide training and socialization

5. Return Policy (Non‑Refundable)

If Buyer cannot keep the dog at any age, Breeder will take the dog back at no refund or assist in rehoming.

Buyer agrees NEVER to surrender the dog to a shelter or rescue.

6. No Breeding Rights (Unless Granted)

Puppies are sold on limited AKC registration unless otherwise stated.

Buyer agrees the puppy will NOT be bred without written permission. Unauthorized breeding results in a $5,000 breach‑of‑contract fee.

7. Liability Waiver

Once the puppy leaves the Breeder’s possession:

• Breeder is not responsible for vet bills, illness, injury, temperament, or behavior

• Buyer assumes full responsibility and ownership upon pickup

8. Entire Agreement

This Agreement represents the full and final understanding between Buyer and Breeder.

No verbal promises are valid unless written here.
