Range/Facility Waiver

Agreement by member or guest of GPS to hold harmless any claim made against GPS or any of its holdings.

GPS operates a Firearms Range and Training Facility (hereafter referred to as “range”) wherein members and guests may train with or shoot any approved firearm desired. Those guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. No one under the age of 12 may use the firearms range. The Range Safety Officer (RSO) MUST be obeyed at all times.

Members and guests are permitted to use any approved ammo in the range, including, but not limited to, ammo manufactured and marketed under any brand name that is sold by the range or approved ammo brought into the range by said member or guest.

I understand that any activity involving firearms and their use is potentially dangerous. I voluntarily enter the range, including the pro shop and classrooms and all other areas of the GPS facility, at my own risk. Members and guests know and understand that there is an additional risk to the usual risk of using the range when individuals are permitted to use their own firearms and ammo. The range cannot predict how said firearm or ammo will function.

As a member or guest of GPS, having read this document and having had any questions arising from this document satisfactorily answered, I knowingly and willfully agree that I, any guests, heirs, representatives, or successors in the interest of myself or my guests, will not bring or allow to be brought any claim against GPS arising from or relating to the use of the range, pro shop, classrooms, entrances, exits, or any part of the facility.

It should also be known that any damages caused to any part of the range or facility by members or guests will result in said members and/or guests being held liable for said damages and any costs relating to repairs and may result in loss of range privileges. All range and membership fees are non-refundable. By signing below, I agree that I am of sound mind and was presented with and read a copy of the range rules and safety tips.
