WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

In consideration of my membership at Guardian Firearms Range (“GFR”) : I hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue GFR its officers, servants, agents and employees, affiliate companies,  (hereinafter referred to as "releasees") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or relating to any loss, damage or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, whether caused by the negligence of the releases, or otherwise, while participating GFR  or upon the premises. 


 

I am fully aware of risks and hazards both known and unknown that are connected with being on the premises and participating at GFR, and I hereby elect to voluntarily participate at GFR, to enter upon the above named premises and engage in activities knowing that conditions may be hazardous, or may become hazardous or dangerous to me and my property. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks of loss, property damage or personal injury, including exposure to lead, including death, that may be sustained by me, or any loss or damage to property owned by me, as a result of my being a participant at GFR , whether caused by the negligence of releasee's or otherwise. I further agree to indemnify and hold harmless GFR from any and all claims and liabilities, including legal fees, that may arise from my participation. 


 

I am familiar with and understand the operation (or will, prior to operation of it) of each firearm which I will use at GFR. The word "operation" includes safe handling, loading, unloading and firing of the firearm(s) as well as use of the appropriate safety mechanisms and operating features of each firearm. 


  

I understand that mind-altering substances (including alcohol or drugs) of any kind, in any quantity, inside or outside of the body, are not allowed at GFR at any time and will not be allowed in any capacity to participate at GFR. 


 

In entering into this Agreement, I hereby grant the Released Parties a limited power of attorney and authorization to obtain, at my cost, any and all emergency medical treatment which may be needed by me as a result of participation in any Activity. For the purposes of this Agreement, emergency medical treatment means medical care or treatment required by a sudden, unexpected situation or occurrence resulting in a serious medical condition demanding immediate medical attention. However, I release, indemnify, hold harmless, covenant not to sue, and forever discharge the Released Parties of and from all liability’s claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any nature arising out of or in any way connected with the exercise or the failure to exercise such limited power of attorney and authorization whether negligent or otherwise. 


 

I, the undersigned, acknowledge that I have been informed that the GFR utilizes training systems that incorporate flashing imagery and/or strobing effects. I understand that these effects may potentially trigger seizures or other adverse reactions in individuals with photosensitive epilepsy or related conditions. I confirm that I have read and understood the information regarding photosensitivity and the risks associated with exposure to strobe lights and flashing imagery during training sessions at the Guardian Firearms Range. I accept full responsibility for my participation and agree to hold harmless the Guardian Firearms Range, its staff, and affiliates from any liability related to this matter. 


  

I understand that photo/video image(s) of me participating in at GFR may be taken and may be used by GFR for commercial/promotional/informational purposes, and I hereby agree and consent to allow such use.

It is my express intent that this Release shall bind the members of my family and spouse, if I am alive, and my heirs, executors and/or assignees elects a personal representative, if I am deceased, and shall be deemed as a Release, Waiver, Discharge and Covenant Not to Sue the above named releasees. 


 

By providing this information, you authorize Guardian Firearms Range to contact the listed individual in the event of a medical emergency incurred while at the range.


In signing this release, I acknowledge and represent that:

A.    I have read the foregoing release, I understand it, and I sign it voluntarily as my own free will. No oral representation, statements or inducements, apart from the foregoing written agreement. 

B.    I am at least twenty-one (21) years of age and fully competent; or I am under the supervision of a fully competent adult.

C.    I am under the age of eighteen (18) years of age, and I MUST AT ALL TIMES be under the supervision of a parent / guardian

D.   I execute this Release for full, adequate and complete consideration fully intending to be bound by same.

By signing this waiver, I acknowledge that I have provided accurate information and understand the risks associated with using the facilities at Guardian Firearms Range.

I acknowledge that this Release will be effective indefinitely. It will apply each time I am present at GFR.

I acknowledge that I will not be permitted to be present at GFR at any time that this Release is not in effect.

In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this day of January 10, 2026.

RANGE RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. No alcoholic beverages, drugs, or persons who have been consuming those items will be allowed on the range or premises at any time.

2. Photo identification required for use of range facilities.

3. Shooter's glasses or tempered glasses must be worn at all times while inside the firing area. (prescription excepted)

4. Hearing protection must be worn at all times while inside firing area. (muff style only)

5. Children must be supervised at all times while on premises. Children under the age of 10 will not be allowed in the firing area.

6. No customer reloads, no armor piercing, tracer, black powder or explosive ammunition will be permitted. Defensive ammo is only permitted on the retrieval side. Be advised that management reserves the right to inspect any and all ammunition prior to use on or in the firing area.

7. All firearms, when not in use, be cleared with the action open and facing the ceiling and placed on the deck with the muzzle facing down range.

8. All firearms must be cleared and bagged or in a container before leaving the firing area.

9. No person will be allowed in front of the firing line. Contact range staff if assistance is needed.

10. Only persons who are actively shooting are allowed inside of the firing area unless, person was granted permission by range staff for coaching.

11. Only firearms in good working condition are allowed on the firing line. (user is held responsible)

12. All fired rounds must impact the bullet trap area. No impact on floor, roof, or side walls.

13. All firearms are subject to inspection at any time by staff.

14. Rapid fire is not permitted.

15. All firearms must be always pointed down range in a safe manner.

16. Tobacco use is NOT allowed on premises.

GUN RENTAL POLICY

  • Current photo identification and proper licensing is required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Non permitted members must pass a background check
  • Range firearms must be fired with ammunition purchased on the premises
  • All range rules and regulations must be adhered to at all times
  • Any violation of rules and regulations will void your rental without a refund
