Beyul Guest and Participant Waiver 

I the undersigned, am fully aware of and appreciate the risks associated with being a guest, participating, and or having my child be a guest or participate in activities at Beyul Retreat and/or on guided excursions off Beyul’s property, including into National Forest. I further agree on behalf of myself, the reservation, my heirs, executors, administrators and legal or personal representatives, that Beyul Retreat, along with its members, managers, owners, officers, volunteers, employees, and directors of the organization, shall not be liable for any personal injury or any other loss or damage whatsoever occurring as a result of visiting or participation in any service offering and/or activity of the Beyul Retreat, or any service and/or activity offered by a third party holding an event at Beyul Retreat, whether on or off Beyul’s property, including in surrounding National Forest. 

We accept full responsibility for the use of any and all equipment, gear, apparatus, appliances, facility privilege or service, whatsoever owned and operated by this retreat at my own risk and shall hold Beyul Retreat harmless from any and all loss, claim, injury, damage or liability sustained or incurred by me resulting therefrom. 

We understand that Beyul Retreat is a rustic nature facility with natural and man-made inherent risks including but not limited to: uneven pathways; uneven stairs; fires in fire pits, wood-burning stoves & fireplaces; hatchets made available for cutting firewood & kindling; ponds and fast-moving waterways; wild animals including bears, moose, elk, bighorn sheep, snakes, foxes and mountain lions; domestic animals included dogs and horses; insect bites and stings; slippery uneven surfaces; old ranch equipment, and miscellaneous old construction and fencing materials. We understand that guided excursions off-property, should we participate in them, have these same inherent risks, as well as inherent risks of inclement weather, extreme temperatures, sun exposure, uneven roads requiring a high-clearance vehicle, uneven trails, off-trail bushwhacking, rock fall, tree fall, steep terrain, avalanche, wildfire, high altitudes, camping tools and cooking equipment, stream crossings, carrying a heavy backpack, dehydration, physical injury, or death. We understand that we are individually responsible for managing and navigating the exposure to these inherent risks. 

We hereby give consent to Beyul Retreat, to provide, through medical staff of its choice, customary medical attention, transportation and emergency services as warranted in the course of the above-named person’s participation. We attest that the above-named people are in overall good health, that we have disclosed any health conditions to Beyul Retreat staff, and we consent to the above-named person participating in all activities Beyul Retreat and on guided excursions off-property.

We give consent to the members of our reservation to be photographed, videotaped, and/or filmed while participating in activities and for the resulting images to be used by Beyul Retreat for teaching, promotional and website purposes. 

As a guest, I hereby verify my signature below that I have read and fully understand each of the above conditions for permitting our reservation to participate in activities at Beyul Retreat or guided excursions off-property, and I accept each of the above conditions.
