Registration: Campers can check-in any time after 2pm. Check-in at the office upon arrival. ID is required. At registration we will need color, make, model, & license plate numbers of all vehicles entering the campground. Limit 2 vehicles per campsite. Car passes are required for all vehicles, additional vehicles must park in designated parking areas. Check-out time is 11am. Based on availability, you may request an early check-in or late check-out, the rate is $2/hr. available between the hours of 10am-6pm. Any campers onsite past 6pm will be charged for a full night.

Cabin Rental: You may arrive as early as 10am to use the swim park on your scheduled day of arrival, and you may stay late to use the swim park on your departure day, however check-in time for the cabin is any time after 2pm and check-out time is by 11am. Guests: All guests visiting a campsite or cabin must register at the office, receive a wristband, and car pass. At registration we will need color, make, model, & license plate numbers of all vehicles entering the campground. Visiting hours are between 9am-7pm. 

Golf Carts: must be registered at check-in. We will need proof of insurance and there's a $10 annual registration fee. Licensed drivers only! Lights are mandatory at dusk, mounted headlights only, flashlights used for lighting is not permitted. No cruising 11pm-8am during quiet time. We allow gas and electric golf carts, no loud golf carts! No side by sides, sandrails, dirt bikes, scooters, mopeds, or 4-wheelers permitted.

Golf Cart Rentals: 9am-dusk. All rentals must be returned nightly even if you have a reservation for consecutive days. A valid driver's license is required for all drivers. Rental golf carts must stay on the property, do not take them into town! 

Speed Limit: 5mph drive extremely slow! Children and bicycles are everywhere! 

Discounts: (Good Sam) If you reserved a campsite using a Good Sam membership it will be verified at check-in, please be sure your membership is still valid! If you forgot to apply your discount when reserving, let us know at check-in, upon verification you'll receive a 10% camp store credit available for use at the camp store during your stay! Discounts cannot be combined, and the credit is good for current reservation only, it will not carry over to future reservations.

(Police & Military) We appreciate your service to our communities and to our country! A campsite is discounted 10% for active duty, or retired police or military veterans. Please show ID at check in. If you forgot to apply your discount when reserving, let us know at check-in, upon verification you'll receive a 10% camp store credit available for use at the camp store during your stay! Discounts cannot be combined, and the credit is good for current reservation only, it will not carry over to future reservations.

(Swim Park) Discounted rates are available to all registered campers! We offer a 1-day, 2-day, or 3-day pass. Multi-day passes must be used consecutively. A waiver form is required for all swimmers. 

Firewood: outside firewood is not permitted unless it's Kiln Dried USDA certified bundles. We don't allow any cutting of trees dead or alive!

Fire rings: Don't move fire rings! There's a $50 damage charge and clean up fee if you move a fire ring and burn in an undesignated spot or leave trash in the firepit!

NO FIREWORKS! Sparklers are permitted.

Pets: all pets must remain on a leash at all times, and properly restrained. Dogs that bark consistently or chase tires aren't welcome here! Do not attach leads, dog runs, or fences to nearby trees or to the electric & water hookups! Do not leave your pet tied outside and unattended at the campsite! Doggy pots are available throughout the campground, please make sure you clean up and dispose of pet waste properly. If you brush and groom your pet don't leave fur-balls! Pets are not permitted in the cabins, restrooms, or laundry facilities. 

Trash: Dumpsters are located near the exit, bagged trash only! If it doesn't fit in a bag, it returns home with you! We don't accept camping tents, awnings, coolers, chairs, etc.

Recycling: Free recycling at the St Paul Dump! It's open on Saturday's and Wednesday's 1pm-5pm. They accept glass bottles, plastics, cardboard & paper.

Campsite Cleanup Fee: if you leave a mess, a campsite cleanup fee will be assessed. Make sure all trash is removed from the site, and you've cleaned up after your pets!

This property is privately owned. The camper accepts camping privileges with the understanding that he does hereby release the Campground, its officers and employees of all liability for loss or damage to property and injury to his person arising out of his use of its camping facilities, and agrees to indemnify the Campground, its officers and employees, against claims resulting from loss or damage to property or injury to the person of any member of the family or guest of the registered camper arising out of the use of its camping facilities.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK, RELEASE AND INDEMNITY

I Agree

The use of the facilities at Hidden Paradise Campground naturally involves the risk of injury or death, whether the undersigned or someone else causes it. As such, the undersigned agrees that he or she understands and voluntarily accepts this risk and agrees that Harvest Time d/b/a Hidden Paradise Campground, and any of their affiliated entities or successors or any officer, director, member, agent, servant or employee of the aforesaid (hereinafter collectively "HPC") will not be liable for any injury or death, including and without limitation, personal, bodily or mental injury, economic loss or any physical or property damage to the undersigned, the undersigned's spouse, the undersigned's children, guest or relative (hereinafter collectively "GUEST") resulting from guests' use of the facilities, including without limitation , as a result of the negligence of HPC or anyone else using the facilities. If there is any claim by anyone based on any injury, death, loss, or damage described herein, which involves the GUEST, the undersigned agrees to (a) fees, and (b) indemnify HPC for all obligations resulting from such claims. This document shall be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana. Any action at law, suit in equity, or other jurisdictional proceeding arising in connection with this document shall be instituted only in the courts of Decatur County, Indiana.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY

The GUEST agrees to release from all liability, discharge and promise not to take legal actions against (i) HPC; (ii) any other guest, visitor or person present or using the facilities or equipment of HPC; (iii) any designer, manufacturers or installers of the facilities or equipment of HPC including but not limited to activities on and around Hidden Paradise Campground, Dream lake and The Flat Rock River for any and all harm or damage to the GUEST in connection with the GUESTS use of any HP facilities or equipment including but not limited to or in connection with any activities sponsored by HPC. This Agreement releases HPC from any liability to GUEST, their heirs, next of kin, assigns or personal representatives for any losses or damages or claims or demand arising out of GUEST'S personal injuries, damage to property or GUEST'S death, even if HPC's individual or collective negligence contributes to such personal injury, damage or death. The undersigned hereby waives any and all claims or actions that may arise against HPC, it's owners, directors, employees or volunteers as a result of any such injury to any such person. Such risks include, but are not limited to: 

1. Injuries or death resulting from the negligence of the owners, operators, employees, or volunteer assistants of HPC; or the negligence of guests, visitors or persons who may be present at HPC; the negligence of any designers' manufacturers or installers of the facilities or equipment of HPC or the negligence of the landlord of HPC.

2. Injuries or death resulting from the failure or negligent misuse, by me or by others, of the facilities or equipment of HPC. 

3. Injuries or death resulting from slips, trips, falls or other such accidents that occur while using the facilities or equipment of HPC, or which may be caused by other persons' use of the facilities or equipment of HPC.

4. Injuries or death resulting from participating in and/or using equipment in connection with activities sponsored by HPC which may take place outside of any premises owned or operated by HPC.

5. Injuries or death that occur from the negligence or lack of adequate training of those volunteers, agents or employees of HPC or death who seek to assist with medical or other help either before or after injuries have occurred.

The GUEST freely and voluntarily assumes complete personal responsibility for these risks and the injuries or death that may occur as a result of these risks, even if such injuries or death occur in the manner that is not foreseeable at the time this agreement is signed and will remain in effect for any and all subsequent visits to HPC.

GUESTS UNDERSTAND AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT SCUBA ACTIVITIES, WATERSLIDE, TRAMPOLINE AND/OR FLOATATION ACTIVITIES HAVE INHERENT DANGERS AND/OR RISKS THAT NO AMOUNT OF CARE, CAUTION, INSTRUCTION, OR EXPERTISE CAN ELIMINATE AND GUEST EXPRESSLY AND VOLUNTARILY ASSUMES ALL RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH, WHETHER FORESEEABLE OR NOT, SUSTAINED IN CONNECTION WITH PARTICIPATION ON THE WATER ACTIVITIES BY SIGNING BELOW. THE GUEST ACKNOWLEDGES THAT HE/SHE HAS READ THIS AGREEMENT THROUGHLY AND UNDERSTANDS AND ACCEPTS THE TERMS CONTAINED HEREIN AND THAT NO ORAL REPRESENTATIONS OR STATEMENTS OR INDUCEMENTS HAVE BEEN MADE TO THE GUEST THAT CHANGE, ALTER OR MODIFY ANYTHING WITHIN THE WRITTEN AGREEMENT BY SIGNING BELOW THE UNDERSIGNED REPRESENTS AND WARRANTS THAT THEY HAVE THE AUTHORITY TO SIGN THIS WRITTEN AGREEMENT AND INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS HPC ON BEHALF OF ALL INDIVIDUALS WHOSE LEGAL RIGHTS THIS AGREEMENT CONTEMPLATES TO WAIVE. IN THE EVENT ANY PORTION OF HEREOF IS HELD INVALID, IT IS AGREED THAT THE BALANCE SHALL, NOTWITHSTANDING, CONTINUE IN FULL LEGAL FORCE AND EFFECT.
