MUSTANG MISSION DAY PERMISSION

When: Wednesday, October 14th, 2026



Dear Parent/Guardian:

The Mustang Mission Day for the entire school is scheduled for Wednesday, October 14th, 2026.

MANY CHAPERONES AND DRIVERS ARE NEEDED FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL. (Indicate willingness to drive/chaperone on the attached electronic waiver)

High School Schedule for the Day:

7:45 - Normal School Start Time

8:30 AM - Depart YCS

9:30 to 2:00 - Serve at various locations; please bring a sack lunch (unless your mission coordinator contacts you about bringing money)

3:00 - Normal Dismissal

Middle School Schedule for the Day:

8:00 am - Departure from YCS - Travel to Feed My Starving Children, Aurora

9 AM - Preparing meals for shipment overseas.

11:30 Lunch at various Portillo's - Please bring money for lunch at Portillo's or pack a sack lunch.

12:30 PM - We will spend the afternoon shopping at various locations (Bring $20 to purchase shoebox items) and packing boxes for Operation Christmas Child

3:00 - Normal dismissal time

Please wear closed toed shoes.

We need drivers and extra hands, please consider chaperoning! Indicate interest on the electronic permission form.

By Completion of this waiver, I agree to the following:

1) I give permission for my child to attend the Mission Day activities at the Various Locations on Wednesday, October 14th, 2026. I am aware my student(s) will be transported by staff or parent volunteer driven vehicles.

2) We will be back to YCS by dismissal at 3:00pm

3) I understand I need to send a sack lunch with my student unless contacted by the mission coordinator for my student to bring money.
