2023 Big Ten Fan Fest Waiver


Welcome to the 2023 Big Ten Football Championship Fan Fest presented by Dr Pepper! 

Please sign waiver below for admittance into the event.

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the Event, I, for and on behalf of myself and my heirs, personal representatives, executors and administrators, hereby forever release and discharge and hold harmless The Big Ten Conference, Inc., Revel XP, LLC, Indianapolis Convention Center, Indiana Sports Corporation, Lucas Oil Stadium, USA Football and Big Ten Network, LLC. (collectively referred to as the “Organizations”), and any of these Organizations’ affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, representatives, agents, volunteers, successors, assigns and those acting with their permission (including the Organizations, collectively referred to as “the Group”) jointly and severally from any and all liability whatsoever, including without limitation, liability arising from illness, injury, property loss or damage, exposure to any communicable disease(s) or death , which I may suffer or cause to others as a result of my participation in the Event. While participating in the Event, consistent with CDC guidelines, participants are encouraged to practice hand hygiene and “social distancing” to reduce the risks of exposure to COVID-19. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is spread mainly from person-to-person contact, therefore Big Ten Conference cannot guarantee that its participants, volunteers, partners, or others in attendance will not become infected with COVID-19 (and any subsequent related strains of the virus). 

I acknowledge and understand the following: 

1. Participation includes possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19 (and any subsequent related strains of the virus). While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist; 

2. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, even if arising from the negligence or fault of the Group; and 

3. I hereby knowingly assume the risk of injury, harm and loss associated with the Event, including any injury, harm and loss caused by the negligence, fault or conduct of any kind on the part of the Group. 


BY ATTENDING AND/OR PARTICIPATING IN THE EVENT, YOU ARE DEEMED TO HAVE GIVEN A FULL RELEASE OF LIABILITY TO THE GROUP TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. 

I also grant to the Organizations and their members, shareholders and other owners, jointly and severally, the right to use throughout the world and in perpetuity, through any media currently existing or hereafter developed, my photograph, likeness, autograph, statements, vice and name for any and all commercial, advertising, promotional, publicity and all other lawful purposes whatsoever without any compensation or approval. 

Notification of and Consent for Collection and Use of Personal Data 

By completing this form and signing this document, you are providing to, and consent to the collection by, Revel XP, LLC certain data about you, including but not limited to personally identifiable information. You hereby consent to the collection of your data by Revel XP, LLC and the use of your data by Revel XP, LLC as set forth herein. Revel XP, LLC may use your data to comply with its legal obligations and for commercial purposes including but not limited to marketing goods and services to you. Revel XP, LLC may also share your data with third parties, including but not limited to affiliates of Revel XP, LLC, for similar commercial usage. I consent to Revel XP, LLC using my personal data for the purposes described in this notice and understand that I can withdraw my consent at any time. 

I agree that this General Release is governed in all respects by the laws of the State of Illinois in the United States of America, and I hereby consent and agree that all suits, actions or proceedings related to this General Release or the Event will be filed in a court located in Cook County, Illinois, U.S.A. I hereby further consent and agree to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in such forum. 

IF PARTICIPANT IS A MINOR (UNDER THE AGE OF 18), THE MINOR’S PARENT/LEGAL GUARDIAN MUST SIGN BELOW TO ACKNOWLEDGE AGREEMENT WITH THE MINOR’S GENERAL RELEASE. I, whose name is also shown below, am the parent/legal guardian of the minor named below and as such am fully authorized to give this General Release on his/her behalf.
