Cat Lounge Access Waiver and Release of Liability

By signing below, I agree to the following terms of this Waiver of Liability:

If you have signed a waiver for Enchanted Cat Cafe or Kitty Kisses Cat Cafe in the past, you do not have to sign this waiver again.

1. I am at least 18 years old, and I certify I am parent/guardian for other individuals (“Minors”) listed below. Collectively, we shall be referred to as “Client”.

2. Kitty Kisses Cat Café (“Cat Café”) provides a space in which the Client may play and interact with cats. Client understands that such activity has risks which may include but not be limited to infection, and disease, as well as personal and/or property damage. Client assumes all risk associated with playing and interacting with cats.

3. Client will comply with all rules, regulations, and instructions (“Rules”). It is Client’s responsibility to review and understand all rules including the no show policy, the incidental policy, and the cancellation policy. Client agrees not to engage in any activity that may injure or otherwise harm the cats in any manner. Failure to comply with Rules may result in ejection from the Cat Café and any fees paid will not be refunded.

4. Minors shall be supervised at all times by the undersigned parent/guardian.

5. I have no allergies, which would adversely affect my ability to play with the cats and/or kittens in a safe and appropriate manner.

6. Client and his/her successors hereby release and forever discharge and agree to hold harmless and indemnify Cat Café, or any of their agents, employees, members, directors, officers, volunteers, visitors, staff, or successors from and against any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, causes of action, costs or expenses, attorney’s fees and any expenses whatsoever, that Client may have or accrue, related to any harm, loss, damage or injury that may be sustained by Client, whether caused by Client’s action, negligence or recklessness, or the action, inaction, negligence or recklessness of the Cat Café.

7. By signing below, Client acknowledges that he/she has read all the provisions above, fully understands these terms and conditions and has freely accepted all of these provisions.

You agree your electronic signature ("E-Signature") is the legal equivalent of your manual signature on this Document. You consent to be legally bound by this Document's agreement(s), acknowledgement(s), policy(ies), disclosure(s), consent term(s) and condition(s). You agree that no certification authority or other third party verification is necessary to validate your E-Signature and that the lack of such certification or third party verification will not in any way affect the enforceability of your E-Signature.

RULES



 Adhere to all posted signage. No climbing on furniture. The Cat Lounge is not a playground. Phone/video calls are not allowed - ask to step out.


 Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before entering. Keep our kitties clean & cootie free - no kisses!


 No food allowed. Drinks bought in-store (with lids) are ok. Cat treats are available for purchase. Don’t give the cats any outside food or drink


 Each child 5 & under must be HELD IN A PARENT’S ARMS OR SEATED AT ALL TIMES! Each youth under 18 must be accompanied by an ATTENTIVE ADULT AT ALL TIMES!


 Look for sneaky kitties when entering and exiting. Do not let any kitties out into the Café and do not let any kittens out into the Lounge. Do not leave the doors to the Cat Lounge or Kitten Cottage open.


 If you added Kitten Cottage to your session, you must visit with the kittens before touching or interacting with any adult cats. Use hand sanitizer before AND after visiting with kittens. No re-entry to Kitten Cottage after you have exited


 Slow movements and quiet talking are required. No loud noises or fast movements. There is a decibel meter to monitor noise.


 Do not pick up the cats or pull them out of their beds. Do not touch the cats’ food or drink. Do not chase the cats or restrict their movement in any way. Yes, you can pet *most* of them.


 Do not play with your hands - use a toy instead. Do not put toys into a cat’s space or disturb them in any way, especially when sleeping. Toys are to stay low to the ground & are for cats ONLY, not kids


 Leave the space as you found it. Move back any furniture, etc. to its original spot. Pick up and put away all toys used during your session


 Cats can be mysterious, uncontrollable and unpredictable which means if they want to be left alone, please do so. RESPECT BOUNDARIES


Follow the Shoe Policy


 Photos are encouraged, but do not use flash.


 You will be charged for additional hour(s) if you stay past your session. Service animals are NOT allowed in the Cat Lounge. Any disruptions to the space and/or broken rules will not be tolerated and after 1 warning, will result in additional charges and/or the disruptive guests ending their session early and leaving with no refund. By entering the Cat Lounge, you are agreeing to follow all rules and staff direction and are agreeing to all policies. If you have a child or children in your group, you will be asked to review more rules with them on location.
