Client Coaching Acknowledgement Co-Active Coaching Partnership The Equine Gestalt Coaching Method® is based on a co-active coaching model which means: ● The primary building block of Co-active Coaching is the shared understanding between coach and client that you, the client, is the one who holds the answers to the challenges you face. The coach’s role is not to supply solutions, but to be a catalyst—listening, questioning, and ultimately holding the client accountable to the change goals he or she sets. As a client, you are naturally creative, resourceful, and whole—fully capable of envisioning, pursuing, and achieving your greatest purpose. As your coach, I will guide you using carefully selected language and questions that bring you into the present moment so you can access the answers that are currently outside of your awareness. ● Before beginning our work together, we will openly design our relationship, defining the rules and expectations that will govern the coaching process. In Co-active coaching, power is granted to this coaching relationship, not to the coach. Together, we will create a “container” of mutual responsibility, in which I as the coach hold a safe space for possibility and the creation of immersive experiences and you as the client are responsible for your own learning and transformation. ● A Co-Active Coaching model employs techniques and strategies specifically targeted to forward the action (in the specific directions identified by you, the client), while deepening your life learning and enjoyment. The key modes of Co-Active Coaching focus on creating genuine fulfillment and balance, while engaging you as the client more fully in the process of life as it unfolds. As your coach, I believe that all parts of people's lives -- their careers, relationships, recreation, personal growth, and finances, for example -- are interrelated and should be addressed as such. In other words, I coach the whole person. Confidentiality All sessions and their content, as well as your records, will be kept confidential. Due to the nature of this coaching model, confidentiality is different than with other, office-based, therapists. Because we operate in an open environment (most often a working barn, outdoor or indoor arena), other people may be around. However, we take every effort to make sure the session is as safe and private as possible and will have a handler present to not only ensure your safety but establish a private space throughout the duration of your session. Cancellations & Rescheduling Individual Sessions: During booking, you will be asked to pay for your session 48-hours in advance of your session. Once you are booked and paid, your session is nonrefundable. If you need to reschedule or cancel a coaching session, please give your coach at least 48-hours’ notice. In the event that your coach is forced to reschedule, you will be notified as far in advance as possible. Groups: Groups are on-going on a weekly basis and open for anyone to join at any time given space availability. To secure your weekly spot, payment must be paid at 48 hours prior to the session. Cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable. If you have to be absent for a session your signed up and paid for, you may refer a friend to take your spot. By signing this Coaching Agreement, I acknowledge that I have reviewed and understand the agreement described above. I have received a copy of the above agreement, and I hereby choose to enter into this agreement with my coach and “Rising Free Retreats, LLC.” I am aware that this is an experiential equine session featuring the Equine Gestalt Coaching Method®. I am aware that my practitioner, Haley Sevalstad, owner of “Rising Free Retreats, LLC” is not a therapist, and that this is not a therapy session; that this is a coaching session. I accept that my coach, Haley Sevalstad, owner of “Rising Free Retreats, LLC”, may provide insight and referrals for me to seek therapy and/or other professional support, if they identify a need.
