Yoon's Martial Arts School 2025 Day Camps Information Sheet

Welcome to Yoon’s Martial Arts School 2025 Day Camps! Our camps are designed to foster discipline, confidence, and physical fitness while providing a fun and engaging environment for children. Below, you’ll find all the essential details to plan your child’s camp experience.

o Spring Hapkido Camp March 24 – 28, Ages 5-14

o Summer Hapkido Camp: July 7 - 11, Ages 5-14

o Summer Hapkido Camp: July 21 - 25, Ages 5-14

All camps are open to a max of 40 students per camp.

• Times: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

• Location: Yoon’s Martial Arts School, Bay 14 3510 27th Street N.E

• Drop-Off and Pick-Up: Drop-off starts at 7:45 AM, and pick-up from 3:30 to 4:00pm.

• Who can enter: Camps are open to both Yoon’s students and non-members

Features:

• Team-Building Activities: Games and challenges to develop leadership and teamwork skills.

• Fitness and Coordination: Activities to enhance strength, flexibility, and overall fitness.

• Creative games: To develop skills through games

• Activities: Self-defense, kicking, patterns, nun-chuck training, sparring, games, Korean wrestling, bamboo sword, grappling, board breaking, Nerf games, friendly competitions, performances and more.

• Quality: 5:1 student to teacher ratio. Our camp leaders and directors are highly trained. Yoon’s martial arts school has been running camps in Calgary since 1983.

• Special Events: Weekly themes, and end-of-week showcases or competition that parents may attend

• Comfortable athletic wear (e.g., T-shirt and sweatpants). Martial arts uniforms are encouraged if owned.

• Packed lunch, snacks, and a water bottle, water cooler is available for all campers 

• Sunscreen hat, bug spray, for outdoor activities.

Fees and Discounts

• Weekly Rate: $250 per camp.

• Multi-Camp Discount:

o 1 Camp: $250

o 2 Camps: $230 per camp ($460 total).

o 3 Camps: $210 per camp ($630 total).

o 4 Camps: $200 per camp ($800 total).

o 5 or More Camps: $200 per camp (e.g., $1000 for 5 camps).

How Pricing Works

• Single Student, Multiple Camps: A single student attending multiple camps receives the multi-camp discount. For example, if one student attends three camps, the total cost is $630 ($210 per camp).

• Multiple Siblings: Families with siblings can combine their camp enrollments to benefit from the multi-camp discount. For instance:

o If three siblings each attend one camp, they can use the 3-camp discount option for a total of $630 ($210 per camp).

o If three siblings each attend two camps (a total of six camps), they can use the 5-camp or more discount option for a total of $1200 ($200 per camp).

• Combining Discounts: The multi-camp discount applies collectively across siblings and multiple camp enrollments, reducing overall costs as more camps are attended.

Registration

• Registration opens on Jan 27, 2025. Spaces are limited, so sign up early to secure your spot.

• How to Register: Fill out the attached registration form and return it to the office with payment, or scan the QR code to register and pay online.  

• Payment: Full payment is required upon registration

Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made at least 10 days before the camp date receives a full refund. Cancellations made 9-5 days prior will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 4 days of the Camp are non-refundable.


STATEMENT OF WAIVER:

I hereby release Yoon’s Martial Arts School, Grand Master Byung Ock Yoon, its instructors; and all other employees, contractors and affiliated members of responsibility, and agree to waive claims against any person partaking in Yoon’s Martial Arts School 2025 day camps, for any injuries or damage which may occur participating, competing in, practicing for the event.

I am aware that this agreement is a release of liability and responsibility between myself (students and, or Parents/guardian) and Yoon’s Martial Arts School, Master Byung Ock Yoon, its instructors; and all other employees and affiliated members. I the student and/or parent/guardian, voluntarily agree to each of the terms and provisions thereof and sign this agreement on my own free will

PHOTO RELEASE 

I agree to grant Yoon's Martial Arts School permission to take and publish still photographs and moving videos of my child. These pictures will be used by Yoon's Martial Arts School for the purpose of displays on our Facebook group, website and to share with parents only. text us at 403 2735900 if you do not want your Childs picture taken during the camp.
