DRIVER'S WAIVER

I, undersigned, driver/operator of a motorized vehicle(s) at HARD C.O.R.E. assume the following risk, and fully understand the rules and regulations laid out by federal and provincial legislature as well as HARD C.O.R.E.

I. All drivers must sign a waiver upon registration.

II. Drivers are not permitted to consume alcohol and/or drugs before and/or during the operation of any motorized vehicle on the event property pursuant to S. 253(1), (2) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
a. Any driver caught to be under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs will be asked to immediately park their vehicle, and possibly removed from event property

III. Drivers, passengers, and accompanying children over 16, are required to wear seatbelts during the operation of a motor vehicle, whether registered on or off road, pursuant to S. 106(1-8.1) of the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.

IV. All participants shall dawn appropriate helmets. Adults are not required to wear helmets in the bog event, but it is strongly recommended. Should an adult choose not to wear a helmet, the adult shall assume all risk for accidental injury, dismemberment, or death.

V. All drivers are required to hold a valid driver's license issued from their province of residence.

VI. All drivers are responsible for their own actions that may lead to injury and/or damage to other persons and property including that of their own.

a. All drivers/persons operating motorized vehicles, assume all risk to their own persons and property.

Note: Should any driver feel unsafe, in danger, or threatened, please see a HARD C.O.R.E member of staff or a security official to assist you.

I have read and understand the above rules and regulations laid out by federal and provincial legislature, as well as HARD C.OR.E., I understand that in signing, I waive all rights to hold the organizers, event, and staff of HARD C.O.R.E. liable for any damage to personal property, injury, dismemberment, or death.
