We are pleased to offer accommodations for our guests and their pets. To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all, we kindly request that you review and agree to our Pet Policy as a condition of bringing your pet to our property.  


Camp Dakota Pet Policy


Camp Dakota is pet friendly! The pet fee is $5.00 per pet/per night. This fee is designed to cover additional cleaning and maintenance associated with accommodating pets. 


Domestic dogs and cats are both allowed. There are no breed restrictions to domestic dogs or cats.  


Pet owners are responsible for their pets at all times during their accommodation. Pets should be well-behaved and kept on a leash and under owner control, or in a carrier in all areas of the property. 


Pets must be fully housebroken, current on all mandatory vaccinations (including Rabies), and free of fleas or parasites. Should your pet become aggressive or cause harm to another guest or pet, you must remove the pet from the property immediately. You may be required to provide a copy of your pet’s vaccination records. This is to ensure the safety of all our guests and furry friends.  


Please be mindful of noise disturbances caused by your pet. If your pet becomes disruptive to other guests, we may request that you take measures to address the issue promptly, which could include requiring that you remove your pet from the property. No refund will be issued if we must ask you to remove your pet from the premises. Pet owners are financially responsible for any damages resulting from their pet's behavior. 


Pets left unattended inside a yurt or a cabin tent must be secured in a kennel or crate. 


Pets are not allowed inside of a Tee Pee.


By bringing your pet to our property, you agree to abide by this Pet Policy. We want all of our guests  to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. 


Upon check-in, you will be provided with a “pet tag” that should be attached to your pet’s collar. This pet tag will help us identify your pet and which campsite it belongs in should your pet escape your control and wander away.

By checking here, you are waiving that right. After consent, you may, upon written request to us, obtain a paper copy of an electronic record. No fee will be charged for such copy and no special hardware or software is required to view it. Your agreement to use an electronic signature with us for any documents will continue until such time as you notify us in writing that you no longer wish to use an electronic signature. There is no penalty for withdrawing your consent. You should always make sure that we have a current email address in order to contact you regarding any changes, if necessary.
