Firearms Training Waiver

Waiver for You as an Adult

I affirm that:

  • I am physically and psychologically fit to participate in this training. It is my responsibility to address any concerns with a qualified medical professional.
  • If you are or may be pregnant, you should consult with your doctor.
  • I fully understand the risks involved in this training activity. I understand that this is serious and life-threatening.
  • I release GranitePond, instructors, assistants, and the range or club for any liabilities like injuries, damages, accidents, or death.
  • I release, waive, and indemnify this organization, including the employees and owners, from any accidents, injuries, damages, or death during the training classes.
  • I will not attend any training under the influence of any intoxicating substance (for firearms, this includes marijuana) or while I have any other impediment that will restrict my ability to think and act responsibly.
  • I understand that I am responsible for my own actions.
  • I confirm that I am 21 years and above and I am legally allowed to own and use a firearm.

I understand that if the instructor believes I have created a safety problem or that I am involved in any suspicious or criminal activities, the instructor has the right to remove the participant from the course without a refund.
