It is expressly agreed that the use of Templar Shooting Sports facilities shall be undertaken at my own risk, and that I am 18 years of age or older, and I am knowledgeable and competent in the use of firearms, ammunition, and other related items. Templar Shooting Sports shall not be liable for any claims, demands, injuries, damages, action or causes of action whatsoever to any member or customer or property arising out of or connected with the use of any of the services and/or facilities. Further, I hereby agree to release Templar Shooting Sports from any injuries, damages, or claims which any third party may have who is present in said premises at my request or invitation or under my control.
In the event that I become responsible for damage to property, I agree compensate for the damage and any needed repairs resulting from my actions.
I acknowledge that I have read the above waiver, that I understand it, that I have the option to have it reviewed by legal counsel prior to signing, and that I consent to it in all parts.
I declare that I am competent to make the determination to sign this waiver agreement, and that it is my intention to use the facilities and equipment of Templar Shooting Sports in a safe and legal manner.
I understand that any safety infraction can be grounds for removal from the facility, without refund of any fees paid, including forfeiture of membership. Range Safety Rules 1. Everyone on the range is responsible for safety and should correct any unsafe situation immediately and notify range staff. 2. Range staff have the right to inspect all firearms and ammunition at any time. 3. All firearms Safety rules must be followed by everyone on the range at all times a. Treat all firearms as if they are loaded b. Keep your finger off the trigger until you are on target and make the decision to shoot. c. Never point the firearm at anything you’re not willing to kill or destroy. d. Be aware of your target and beyond. (Including the angle towards baffles, walls and range equipment.) 4. Hearing and eye protection are mandatory at all times while in the range, and should be put on prior to entering the range. 5. Load and unload firearms ONLY on the firing line and in your shooting lane. 6. Keep all firearms pointed down range at all times. 7. All firearms must be cleared and cased or holstered when leaving the firing line/shooting stall. 8. If you have a malfunction while on the firing line, and cannot clear it yourself, ground the firearm on the shooting table, pointed downrange, and notify the range staff. 9. No drawing from the holster and firing without prior authorization from range staff. 10. No intentional shooting at any equipment, objects on the floor, ceiling, or walls. Shooters caught damaging equipment will: a. First offense, receive a warning. b. Second offense, be charged $25 fee. c. Third offense, Range staff will determine whether shooter may stay on the range. 11. Cross lane firing is strictly prohibited. Shoot only at your own target in your own lane. 12. No one is allowed forward of the firing line at any time, under any circumstances. 13. Factory manufactured or factory remanufactured ammunition only on the range. No hand or privately loaded ammo is allowed. Armor piercing, penetrating, tracer or incendiary rounds are PROHIBITED! 14. Shooters may collect their own brass only in their stall. All other brass is to be left on the floor and the range staff will clean it up. 15. No food or drink on the range at any time. 16. Any person under the influence of alcohol or any other intoxicating substance is prohibited from entering the range. 17. Shooters under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian above the age of 21 present when on the range. 18. Only one loaded firearm at a time on the firing line. No handling of firearms behind the line, at any time. 19. Be courteous and aware of other shooters on the range. 20. Notify range staff immediately of any unsafe or questionable firearms practices. 21. All Class III firearms must be checked in with range staff. 22. No black powder firearms allowed on the range. 23. Notify range staff of any equipment malfunctions immediately. 24. NO SHOTGUNS on the range without prior management approval. 25. Be SAFE and ENJOY your range experience. Do not hesitate to ask questions or for assistance.
No instruction other than Templar Shooting Sports instructors on the Range. If you intend to give instruction, please notify management
