1. Deposit and Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve a puppy. This deposit secures the Buyer’s place in the selection process and reflects the Breeder’s time, planning, and commitment.

Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances unless otherwise determined at the sole discretion of the Breeder.

Accepted payment methods for the deposit include Zelle, Venmo, or cash.

The remaining balance is due prior to or at the time of pickup, as agreed upon between Buyer and Breeder.

Accepted payment methods for the final balance include cash, cashier’s check, or approved digital payment methods at the discretion of the Breeder. Personal checks are not accepted. Cashier’s checks must be received and cleared in advance unless provided by a trusted source.

Digital payment methods such as Zelle or Venmo may be accepted based on the established relationship with the Buyer.

If full payment is not received as agreed, the Breeder reserves the right to cancel the sale and retain the deposit.

2. Spay and Neuter Agreement

Puppies placed through Promised Love are sold as companions unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Breeding of this dog is strictly prohibited under all circumstances without prior written consent from Promised Love.

For developmental and long-term health considerations, Promised Love does not support early spay or neuter procedures.

For males, neutering should not occur prior to full physical maturity, with a minimum recommendation of 24 months of age. Owners who are considering leaving their male intact long-term are encouraged to consult with Promised Love to discuss responsible management.

For females, spay decisions should be made thoughtfully and in consultation with a qualified veterinarian experienced in reproductive health. Owners are encouraged to weigh the long-term health considerations of both remaining intact and spaying, and to make an informed decision based on their individual dog.

Alternative options, including ovary-sparing procedures, may also be considered as part of an informed and individualized approach.

At all times, it remains the Buyer’s responsibility to prevent any unintended breeding.

Under no circumstances should this dog be bred without explicit written permission from Promised Love. Any intentional or negligent breeding will be considered a material breach of contract.

3. Health Guarantee

At the time of sale, the puppy is guaranteed to be in good health to the best of the Breeder’s knowledge.

The Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of taking possession. If a serious health concern is identified during this time, the Buyer must notify the Breeder immediately.

This puppy is guaranteed against life-altering genetic or congenital defects that significantly impact the dog’s quality of life for a period of 24 months from the date of birth.

This guarantee does not cover conditions influenced by environmental or external factors, including but not limited to injury, diet, overexertion, exposure, vaccination reactions, or illnesses such as cancer. Variations that do not impact long-term quality of life are not considered grounds for replacement.

If a genetic or congenital defect is suspected, the following conditions must be met:

  • Written documentation from a licensed veterinarian
  • A second independent veterinary opinion
  • The Breeder reserves the right to obtain an additional evaluation from a veterinarian of their choosing

All veterinary expenses incurred by the Buyer are the responsibility of the Buyer and will not be reimbursed.

If a qualifying condition is confirmed, the Breeder will offer a replacement puppy from a future litter. No monetary refunds will be given.

This guarantee applies only to the original Buyer and is non-transferable.

4. Return to Breeder / Rehoming Agreement

Buyer agrees that if, at any time during the dog’s life, they are unable or unwilling to keep the dog, the dog must be returned to Promised Love.

The dog may not be sold, transferred, surrendered, or rehomed without prior knowledge and approval of Promised Love. All placement decisions remain at the discretion of Promised Love to ensure the continued well-being of the dog.

No refunds will be given for any returned dog.

Promised Love will either take the dog back into their care or assist in placement in a home deemed appropriate. The goal is to ensure that every dog bred through this program remains safe, stable, and responsibly placed throughout its lifetime.

Promised Love retains the right to reclaim the dog if any terms of this agreement are violated. In such cases, the Buyer agrees to return the dog immediately upon request, without compensation.

5. Pickup and Extended Care

Puppies are ready to go home at 8 weeks of age unless otherwise agreed upon in advance.

The Breeder will provide a designated pickup window to accommodate scheduling and travel. Buyers are expected to coordinate within this timeframe.

If the Buyer is unable to pick up their puppy within the designated window, extended care must be arranged in advance. Extended care may be offered as part of an approved training or development program, or as a daily boarding arrangement.

A daily care fee will apply for any puppy remaining beyond the agreed pickup date unless enrolled in a structured program. Continued care is not guaranteed and remains at the discretion of the Breeder.

If arrangements are not made in advance, or if the puppy is not picked up as agreed, the Breeder reserves the right to cancel the sale and retain all payments made.

6. Right to Refuse or Cancel Sale

Promised Love reserves the right to refuse or cancel the sale of any puppy at any time prior to final placement, at the sole discretion of the Breeder.

This decision may be made if placement is not in the best interest of the puppy or program, or if concerns arise regarding the Buyer’s ability to provide appropriate care.

If the Breeder elects to cancel the sale prior to placement, all payments made by the Buyer will be refunded unless the cancellation is due to a breach of contract.

7. General Agreement

By submitting a deposit or completing payment, the Buyer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined in this agreement.

By signing below, the Buyer confirms understanding and agreement to all terms of this contract.

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved within the State of Texas.
