2024 Volunteer Waiver and Release

I, (hereinafter the “Releasor”) HEREBY EXECUTE this Waiver and Release to the YEGPIN: 2024 Edmonton Pinball and Arcade Expo (the “Event”), Die Hard Pinball League and YEGPIN Executive Team (hereinafter collectively the “Releasee”).

NATURE OF ACTIVITY

I, the Releasor, wish to participate in the following event to take place on June 15th-25th, 2024 and acknowledge that I am of legal age required to do so.

Volunteer for YEGPIN: 2024 Edmonton Pinball and Arcade Expo.

The consideration I receive for this my Release is the opportunity to participate in the Event and to demonstrate any machines I may bring to the Event.

WAIVER

I, the Releasor, hereby waive, release, and discharge the Releasee (who runs or operates this event) and his or her heirs, legal representatives, administrators, and executors for all liability for or by reason of any damage, loss or injury (including death) to myself or my property which has been or may be sustained as a result of my participation in the event.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

I, The Releasor, hereby acknowledge the following:

I have read this Release thoroughly and I fully understand it.
I am voluntarily executing this Release, and would not otherwise be permitted to donate my asset.
By executing this Release I agree not to sue or otherwise claim against the Releasee, presently or at any future time, for damage and loss that may occur to my property as a result of participating in this event.
I have been granted the opportunity to seek independent legal advice before executing this Release
