Minor Waiver

I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian of the named minor, hereby grant permission for my child to attend the above-referenced event, which is generally designated as an 18-and-over event.

I understand and acknowledge that:

1. The event may be attended primarily by individuals who are eighteen years of age and older.

2. My child will be subject to all event rules, policies and instructions from event staff.

3. Attendance may involve risks including, but not limited to, crowds, loud music, physical activity, and other conditions typically associated with public events.

4. I am responsible for determining whether this event is appropriate for my child.

5. The event organizer reserves the right to remove any attendee, including my child, for violations of event rules or behavior deemed unsafe or disruptive.

6. NO RE-ENTRY. Once your child leaves the building, they will NOT be permitted back in.

5. Alcohol will be sold at this event and all patrons must have identification. Underage patrons will be braceleted appropriately and not served. 

7. There will be no large purses, backpacks or bags permitted. Attempts to bring in any alcoholic beverages, drugs, or cigarettes will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

8. No outside food or drink permitted.

9. We reserve the right to have your child wanded, pockets emptied and shoes/boots removed if our security personnel feel they are attempting to bring weapons or alcohol inside the building.

10. You and your child are responsible for the manner in which they return home after exiting the premises. 

11. You are responsible to explain the policies of the venue to your child prior to coming.

12. Expectations of Participant Behavior and Conduct:

  • Expected to be respectful of others. Bullying, harassing or using derogatory language towards another person or group will not be tolerated.
  • No alcohol or drugs are permitted.
  • No weapons – guns, knives, pepper spray) are permitted.
  • No fighting will be tolerated.



  • THIS RELEASE & WAIVER OF LIABILITY AGREEMENT ("AGREEMENT") HAS LEGAL CONSEQUENCES AND WILL AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AND ABILITY TO BRING FUTURE LEGAL ACTIONS. THIS AGREEMENT INCLUDES AN ARBITRATION PROVISION AND A WAIVER OF YOUR RIGHT TO BRING A CLASS ACTION.

 In consideration of being permitted to enter and remain at The Williams Center for any type of event or gathering, (each, an "Event"), and in addition to agreeing to all terms and conditions set forth on any ticket purchased for such Event, each ticket holder ("Holder")-on behalf of themselves and their Related Persons (as defined below)-hereby acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement. “Holder” shall mean each of (a) a holder of a Ticket entering a Venue or seeking admittance to a Venue or who has spent any time in or on the premises of a Venue; (b) a holder of a Ticket who, whether voluntarily or involuntarily, does not enter a Venue, or who is denied admittance or access to a Venue; (c) a purchaser of a Ticket and regardless of whether or not such purchaser actually enters a Venue or personally uses such Ticket; (d) an individual to whom a Ticket purchased by a purchaser described in the foregoing clause (c) is transferred (whether or not for consideration); and (e) an individual to whom a Ticket is issued (whether or not for consideration). “Related Persons” of a Holder shall mean, collectively, such Holder’s heirs, assigns, executors, administrators, and next of kin, and each individual attending an Event with such Holder, including, without limitation, any accompanying minors, each individual on whose behalf such Holder purchases any one or more Tickets or to whom such Holder sells or transfers any one or more Tickets, including any minors, and other persons acting or purporting to act on such Holder’s or any of the foregoing persons’ or entities’ behalf. Each Holder represents and warrants that such Holder has been authorized by each of such Holder’s Related Persons to act on such Related Person’s behalf for purposes of the releases and waivers set forth in this Agreement. Each Holder covenants and agrees that such Holder will notify each individual to whom such Holder sells or transfers a Ticket of the terms and conditions of this Agreement upon the sale or transfer of such Ticket, will notify each individual accompanying such Holder to any one or more Venues for an Event of the terms and conditions of this Agreement prior to such individual’s entrance into any Venue, and will notify each of such Holder’s other Related Persons of the terms and conditions of this Agreement prior to such Holder’s entrance into any Venue.

  • ASSUMPTION OF RISKS, HAZARDS AND DANGERS

EACH HOLDER, ON BEHALF OF ITSELF AND EACH OF SUCH HOLDER’S RELATED PERSONS, HEREBY FULLY UNDERSTANDS AND KNOWINGLY, VOLUNTARILY AND IRREVOCABLY, ASSUMES ALL RISKS, HAZARDS AND DANGERS, HOWEVER CAUSED, RELATED TO ENTRY INTO, AND PRESENCE IN, AT AND AROUND ANY ONE OR MORE VENUES WITHIN THE BUILDING, WHICH MAY INCLUDE AN INCREASED RISK OF EXPOSURE TO COMMUNICABLE DISEASES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, COVID-19), VIRUSES, BACTERIA OR ILLNESSES OR THE CAUSE THEREOF, SICKNESS, PERSONAL INJURY, DISABILITY, SHORT-TERM OR LONG-TERM HEALTH EFFECTS, AND/OR DEATH, AND WHICH RISKS, HAZARDS AND DANGERS MIGHT RESULT FROM THE ACTIONS, INACTIONS, OR NEGLIGENCE OF HOLDER, HOLDER’S RELATED PERSONS, ANY OF THE RELEASED PARTIES (AS DEFINED BELOW), OR OTHER THIRD PARTIES, AND MAY OCCUR OR ARISE BEFORE, DURING OR AFTER ANY ONE OR MORE EVENTS, AND INSIDE OR OUTSIDE OF A VENUE. HOLDER HEREBY ACCEPTS PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ITS VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION IN/AT ANY ONE OR MORE EVENTS. HOLDER HEREBY ASSUMES, ON BEHALF OF ITSELF AND HOLDER’S RELATED PERSONS, ALL AND SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF CLAIMS AND POTENTIAL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE RISK, HAZARDS AND DANGERS DESCRIBED IN THIS AGREEMENT. FURTHERMORE, HOLDER UNDERSTANDS THAT ATTENDANCE SPECIFICALLY OF HARDCORE AND HEAVY METAL SHOWS MAY INVOLVE RISKS THAT THE HOLDER TAKES PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY FOR UNDERSTANDING SUCH SHOWS MAY INVOLVE INHERANT RISKS SUCH AS LOUD NOISE, CROWD MOVEMENT, STROBE LIGHTING, PHYSICAL CONTACT, MOSHING, AND OTHER UNPREDICTABLE BEHAVIORS OR ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS. THESE RISKS MAY RESULT IN INJURY, ILLNESS, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS OR OTHER HARM. 

  • RELEASE, WAIVER & COVENANT NOT TO SUE

(a)    EACH HOLDER, ON BEHALF OF THEMSELVES AND THEIR RELATED PERSONS, HEREBY FULLY UNDERSTANDS AND KNOWINGLY, VOLUNTARILY, IRREVOCABLY, AND FOREVER RELEASES, WAIVES, AND DISCHARGES (AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE) EACH OF THE RELEASED PARTIES, AS DEFINED IN SECTION 3(b), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, DAMAGES, ACTIONS, CAUSES OF ACTION, AND/OR SUITS AT LAW OR IN EQUITY THAT SUCH HOLDER OR ANY OF THEIR RELATED PERSONS MAY HAVE (OR HEREINAFTER ACCRUE), OR THAT ANY OTHER HOLDER OR SUCH OTHER HOLDER'S RELATED PERSONS MAY HAVE (OR HEREINAFTER ACCRUE), AGAINST ANY ONE OR MORE OF THE RELEASED PARTIES, THAT

ARISE OUT OF, RELATE TO, OR ARE IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH ANY OF THE RISKS, HAZARDS, AND DANGERS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 1 OR SECTION 2 INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION:

-   (i) A HOLDER'S OR RELATED PERSON'S EXPOSURE OR ALLEGED EXPOSURE TO COVID-19 OR ANY COMMUNICABLE DISEASE;

-   (ii) THE ACTUAL OR ALLEGED CONTRACTING OF COVID-19 OR ANY OTHER ILLNESS;

-   (iii) A HOLDER'S OR ANY RELATED PERSON'S TRAVEL TO, ENTRY INTO, OR PRESENCE WITHIN THE VENUE, OR COMPLIANCE WITH ANY VENUE OR PRODUCER POLICIES, PROCEDURES, OR PROTOCOLS;

-   (iv) ANY INTERACTION BETWEEN A HOLDER OR THEIR RELATED PERSONS AND ANY EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, OR REPRESENTATIVES OF THE RELEASED PARTIES, WHETHER BEFORE, DURING, OR AFTER AN EVENT.

 ALL SUCH CLAIMS, WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN, AND WHETHER ARISING FROM ACTION, INACTION, OR NEGLIGENCE OF ANY RELEASED PARTY OR OTHERWISE, ARE HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO COLLECTIVELY AS THE "CLAIMS."

 (b)    THE "RELEASED PARTIES" ARE: (i) THE WILLIAMS CENTER AND EACH OF ITS AFFILIATE COMPANIES, SUBSIDIARIES, PARTNERS, VOLUNTEERS, ADMINISTRATORS, LICENSEES, AGENTS, OWNERS, MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS (AND ALL EMPLOYEES OF SUCH CONTRACTORS), REPRESENTATIVES, VENDORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, WHETHER ACTING IN INSTITUTIONAL OR INDIVIDUAL CAPACITIES; (ii) THE DIRECT AND INDIRECT OWNERS, LESSEES, AND SUBLESSEES OF THE WILLIAMS CENTER; AND (iii) EACH THIRD PARTY PROVIDING PRODUCTS OR SERVICES AT OR IN CONNECTION WITH ANY EVENT.

 EACH HOLDER HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, FOREVER DISCHARGES, AND AGREES NOT TO SUE THE RELEASED PARTIES, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS (AS DEFINED ABOVE), INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THOSE:

1.  CAUSED BY THE ORDINARY NEGLIGENCE, FAULT, OR OMISSION OF THE RELEASED PARTIES;

2.  ARISING FROM ANY CHANGE IN LAW OR PUBLIC HEALTH REQUIREMENTS, WHETHER APPLIED RETROACTIVELY OR PROSPECTIVELY;

3.  ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH ANY EVENT HELD AT THE WILLIAMS CENTER.

  • HOLDER RESPONSIBILITY & REPRESENTATIONS

Holder represents and warrants that:

-  They are acting on behalf of their Related Persons, including minors or transferees of any ticket.

-  They have informed such persons of the terms of this Agreement.

-  They will comply with all venue rules, signage, and staff instructions during their visit.

  • GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflicts of law provisions.

  • ARBITRATION AGREEMENT

 Any and all disputes, claims, or causes of action arising out of this Agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of JAMS, held in Bergen County, New Jersey. The Federal Arbitration Act shall govern this clause. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

  • CLASS ACTION WAIVER

 Holder agrees that any claim shall be brought on an individual basis only. Holder waives the right to participate in any class action, class arbitration, or representative action against the Released Parties.

  • SEVERABILITY

If any part of this Agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
