Welcome to Ultimutt Doggy Daycare!

We’re so excited to have your pup join our pack. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our dogs, we’ve outlined the following rules and regulations. By enrolling your dog in our daycare services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms in this waiver.

General Rules:

Vaccinations:

All dogs must be up-to-date with their vaccinations.

  • Proof of vaccination must be provided before the first day of daycare.
  • Dogs without current vaccinations will not be allowed to participate.
  • Puppies can only attend 14 days after their final vaccination.

Age Requirement:

Dogs must be at least 3 months old to attend daycare and as mentioned above must wait until 14 days after their final vaccination.

Health Condition:

  • Dogs must be in good health to attend daycare. If your dog is sick, injured, or has recently undergone surgery, please refrain from bringing them until they are fully recovered.
  • Dogs are not required to be desexed to attend Ultimutt Doggy Daycare. However, Ultimutt reserves the right to assess and decide at any time if a dog’s desexed status affects their suitability for daycare. If a dog’s behaviour or interactions indicate that they can no longer safely participate due to not being desexed, we may ask that they no longer attend.

Behavioural Requirements:

  • Dogs must exhibit appropriate behaviour. Aggressive or excessively dominant behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • If your dog has a history of aggression or anxiety, please discuss this with us beforehand. We may require a trial period to assess behaviour.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to any dog that exhibits unsafe or disruptive behaviour.

Socialization:

Dogs must be comfortable around other dogs and people. We do not accept dogs with a history of severe fear or aggression. If your dog does not interact well with others, they will be placed in a separate, safe space to ensure their comfort.

Personal Items:

We recommend leaving personal belongings (toys, beds, etc.) at home, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Booking and Cancelling:

  • We pride ourselves on being flexible to accommodate your schedule.
  • We ask that clients book their sessions as early as possible to ensure we can properly plan group dynamics and space.
  • If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know as soon as possible. This helps us manage our groups and give other dogs the opportunity to join.
  • Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect your ability to book future sessions.

Emergency Contact Information:

An emergency contact number and veterinary contact information must be provided to us in case of illness or injury.


Legal Waiver:

Acknowledgment of Risk & Liability:

By enrolling your dog in Ultimutt Doggy Daycare, you understand and acknowledge that there are inherent risks involved with the daycare experience, including but not limited to injury or illness from interactions with other dogs or external factors such as weather, floors, or toys. You agree to assume all responsibility for any incidents that may arise.

Medical Emergencies:

In the event of a medical emergency, you authorize Ultimutt Doggy Daycare to contact your veterinarian or an emergency clinic for treatment. You agree to be responsible for any associated costs.

Injury or Illness:

While we take every precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your dog, accidents and illnesses can occur. You agree that Ultimutt Doggy Daycare is not liable for any injuries, illnesses, or conditions that may arise while your dog is under our care, including but not limited to cuts, scrapes, bites, allergic reactions, and infectious diseases.

Damage to Property:

Ultimutt Doggy Daycare is not responsible for damage to your dog’s personal property (e.g., collars, leashes, toys, or clothing). All personal items are brought at your own risk.

Behavioural Issues & Termination of Service:

You understand and agree that if your dog exhibits disruptive or unsafe behaviour, Ultimutt Doggy Daycare reserves the right to terminate services. No refund will be issued for unused days, and you will be notified promptly if your dog needs to be removed from daycare.

Release of Liability:

You release Ultimutt Doggy Daycare, its owners, employees, and volunteers from any and all liability, claims, damages, or injuries resulting from your dog’s participation in our services.

Publicity Release:

You agree that Ultimutt Doggy Daycare may use photographs, videos, or other images of your dog for promotional, educational, or marketing purposes. If you do not consent to this, please notify us in writing.

Indemnity:

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ultimutt Doggy Daycare and its staff from any and all claims, suits, and actions of every kind arising out of your dog’s participation in daycare services.

Termination of Agreement:

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time with written notice. If you choose to withdraw your dog from daycare, any prepaid fees for unused days are non-refundable.
