Waiver of Liability/Release Form for Boatbuilding Classes In consideration of being permitted to participate in a boatbuilding class, I acknowledge that I have been informed of and fully recognize and appreciate the dangers and risks inherent in such activities, and do herby waive, release and forever discharge Waterfront Program Partners, LLC from and against any and all claims, demands, action or causes of action for costs, expenses or damages to personal property or personal injury, which may result from my participation in these activities. I understand and admit that my participation in boatbuilding is voluntary. I recognize and understand that the activities may be hazardous, and the hazards consist of, but are not limited to the following: joint/hand pain (repetitive motions and movements), cuts, abrasions, or contusions (wood carving knives, edge tools, and hand tools). My participation is solely at my own risk, and I assume full responsibility for any resulting injuries and damages and waive any and all claims for damages against the company listed in paragraph one and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the same with respect to any claims which may be asserted against them arising out of my participation herein. All boatbuilding classes will begin with a safety lesson followed by a lesson on the proper use of the tools and equipment used in the class and I agree to abide by all instruction given. A full first aid kit is available on site. I agree to let the instructor know immediately if ANY injury occurs during the class. I acknowledge that I have read and understand the entire Waiver of Liability/Release, and I agree to be legally bound by it. *If Participant is under 18 Years of Age, a parent or guardian must sign this form and a parent/legal guardian must accompany and take the entire class and agree to be responsible for supervising the minor during class.
