Liability Waiver & Indemnification Agreement

 For Movement of Campers, Sheds, Decks, and Personal Property and other 

Before We Shift, Move, or Improve – Let’s Agree on the Details


At Sleepy Hollow Lake Campground, we do our very best to maintain a safe and enjoyable space for all our guests. However, there are occasions where campers, sheds, decks, or other personal property may need to be moved by management or contractors (such as during upgrades, repairs, or emergencies, deliveries). This form serves as an acknowledgment and agreement that Sleepy Hollow Lake Campground and its agents are not liable for any damage or loss incurred during such movement. If you initiate a move with us, please note there will be a minimum charge of $150 per hour. Billed at an hourly rate. 

Waiver of Liability

I/We understand and agree that:

  • Sleepy Hollow Lake Campground, its owners, staff, affiliates, contractors, and agents are not responsible for any damages to campers, sheds, decks, or any personal property that is moved, relocated, or adjusted for any reason.
  • This includes (but is not limited to) accidental damage to siding, roofing, skirting, plumbing, electrical, contents, or structural components or mother nature
  • Movement may be necessary due to campground upgrades, maintenance, emergency access, safety concerns, or at the request of the camper.
  • The decision to move an item may occur with or without prior notice depending on the urgency of the situation.

Indemnification Clause

I/We agree to:

Fully indemnify and hold harmless Sleepy Hollow Lake Campground, its owners, employees, contractors, and representatives from any and all claims, losses, damages, or legal actions arising out of or relating to the movement of personal property.

This includes reimbursement for:

  • Any third-party claims made against the campground
  • Legal fees
  • Costs related to disputes regarding said movement and other

Acknowledgment

By signing below, I/we acknowledge that I/we have read and fully understand this waiver and indemnification agreement. I/we voluntarily accept the terms and agree to release Sleepy Hollow Lake Campground from all liability regarding the movement of personal property. This waiver remains in effect until further notice.
