The Play Place aims to create a safe and stimulating environment for children to play, run, and explore but inherent risks are associated with children playing together and participating in moderate physical activity like tripping, falling, and collisions. Reasonable steps have been taken to control these risks through the design, maintenance, and operation of the Play Place, but Guardians must recognize and accept these risks; a Guardian must be 18 or above. We ask that you please read and adhere to the following:

 

Rules of Play

·       Play sessions are restricted to 2 hours

·       Remove shoes and wear socks at all times

·       Unwell children should not use the facility.

-Guardians must supervise children at all times including in bathrooms, ensuring they adhere to the Rules of Play.

-Staff monitor equipment and have access to first aid facilities but do not supervise children.

-No food, drink, or sweets are allowed in play areas

-Personal items must be kept with Guardians; no liability is accepted for loss or theft

-Users must treat each other, staff, and facilities with respect; verbal or physical violence will not be tolerated.

-The Play Place reserves the right to change opening times, prices and play equipment without prior notification.

-Prohibited items in play areas include pens, sharp objects, toys etc.

-The Play Place reserves the right to refuse entry or ask anyone not following the rules to leave without a refund.


In consideration of being permitted to use the facilities and equipment at The Play Place, the undersigned, on behalf of themselves and their minor children or wards, if applicable, hereby acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions set forth in this Indoor Playground Waiver and Release of Liability ("Waiver").

1. Assumption of Risks: The undersigned understands and acknowledges that using an indoor playground involves inherent risks, including but not limited to, the risk of slips, falls, collisions, and injuries resulting from the use of equipment, surfaces, and structures present in the indoor playground.

2. Safety Rules and Instructions: The undersigned agrees to follow all safety rules and instructions provided by The Play Place staff or posted within the indoor playground premises. Failure to comply with these rules and instructions may result in injury to oneself or others.

3. Release and Indemnification: The undersigned, on behalf of themselves, their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release and discharge The Play Place, its owners, employees, agents, and representatives, from any and all claims, liabilities, actions, causes of action, expenses, damages, and demands of whatever nature, whether in law or in equity, arising from or related to the use of the indoor playground facilities and equipment. The undersigned agrees to indemnify and hold [Your Business Name] harmless against any claims brought by third parties arising from the undersigned's use of the indoor playground.

4. Medical Emergencies: In the event of a medical emergency, the undersigned authorizes The Play Place and its staff to seek and consent to emergency medical treatment on behalf of the participant, if required. The undersigned agrees to assume all costs associated with any medical treatment provided.

5. Parent/Guardian Responsibility: If the participant is a minor, the undersigned parent or legal guardian acknowledges and agrees to assume all risks, responsibilities, and liabilities related to the minor's use of the indoor playground facilities and equipment.

6. Severability: If any provision of this Waiver is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

I have read this Indoor Playground Waiver and Release of Liability, fully understand its contents, and voluntarily sign it as my own free act and deed. I also understand that this document constitutes a legal and binding agreement and is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of local municipalities.
