RENTAL AGREEMENT

1. I am 18 years of age or older

2. I accept for use, as is, the equipment listed on this form, and accept full responsibility for the care of the equipment while it is in my possession.

3. I will be responsible for the replacement at full retail value of any equipment rented under this form, but not returned to the shop.

4. I will be responsible for damage charges pertaining to any equipment rented under this form, and returned to the shop in damaged condition.

5. I agree to return all rental equipment by the agreed date and time in clean condition to avoid any additional charges.

6. In the event of loss or damage of any equipment rented under this form, I hereby accept that Island Surf Company may charge my credit card with the full retail value of any such equipment, rented under this form.

7. I agree to hold harmless and indemnify Island Surf Company and its owners, agents and employees for any loss or damage, including any that result from claims for personal, injury or property damage related to the use of this equipment, except reasonable wear and tear.

8. I understand that there are inherent and other risks involved in the sport for which this equipment is to be used, that injuries are a common and ordinary occurrence of the sport, and I freely assume those risks.

9. I hereby release Island Surf Company and its owners, agents and employees from any and all liability for damage and injury to myself or to any person or property resulting from negligence, installation, maintenance, the selection, adjustment and uses of this equipment, accepting myself the full responsibility for any and all such damage or injury which may result.

10. I have made no misrepresentations to Island Surf Company in regard to my age or surfing ability.

11. All instructions on the use of my rental equipment have been made clear to me, and I understand the function of my equipment.

I, the undersigned, have read and understood the rental agreement and release agreement above.


RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

  • Rentals are due back by 11 pm.
  • Return rentals to designated drop off zone behind the Surf Shop.
  • Please return all equipment clean and remove all excess sand.
  • Please place boards in designated board racks and remove leashes and place in totes.
  • Wetsuits should be returned inside-out.
  •  Keep all your equipment together when placing in the totes
