ASSUMPTION OF RISK, WAIVER, AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY



I understand that roller skating is a hazardous recreational activity involving inherent and significant risks, including but not limited to: falls; collisions with other participants; contact with walls, barriers, or objects; surface defects; equipment malfunction; negligent acts of other participants; and other dangerous conditions that may result in serious bodily injury, permanent disability, paralysis, or death.


I voluntarily choose to participate in roller skating activities at Skater Things Clubhouse and knowingly and freely assume all risks, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of Skater Things Clubhouse, its owners, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, representatives, successors, and assigns.


To the fullest extent permitted by California law, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Skater Things Clubhouse and its owners, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, or liabilities of any kind arising out of or related to my participation in roller skating activities or presence on the premises, including claims based on negligence.


I agree that this Release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the laws of the State of California. If any portion is held invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full legal force and effect.


This agreement is valid for one (1) year from the date signed below and applies to all visits during that time period.





SAFETY ACKNOWLEDGMENT



I understand that protective gear, including helmets and pads, is recommended. I accept full responsibility for my decision whether or not to wear protective equipment and acknowledge that Skater Things Clubhouse is not responsible for injuries resulting from my choice.





MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION



I certify that I am physically able to participate in roller skating activities. I authorize Skater Things Clubhouse to obtain emergency medical treatment if deemed necessary and agree to be financially responsible for any medical expenses incurred.






NO-REFUND POLICY



I acknowledge that all membership fees and walk-in fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.






ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND SIGNATURE



I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS ANNUAL LIABILITY WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY. I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS AND UNDERSTAND THAT I AM GIVING UP SUBSTANTIAL LEGAL RIGHTS. I SIGN THIS AGREEMENT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY.
