ASSUMPTION OF RISK:
I acknowledge and accept that participating in or spectating equine activities involves inherent risks. I willingly and knowingly assume full responsibility for these risks, whether they are known or unknown, including those that may arise from the negligence of the releasees or others.
COMPLIANCE & CONDITIONS: - I agree to comply with all terms and conditions laid out in this document.
- I will use the facility only as designated and will maintain the cleanliness of the premises during my use.
- All animals under my care will be my responsibility in terms of welfare and safety.
- I adhere to Alberta’s tobacco reduction act; smoking and vaping are not permitted.
- Alcohol consumption is permitted only if provided by the Ponoka Ag Event Centre, in line with Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission regulations.
- Pets must be leashed and are restricted from the arena, lobby, and stabling areas.
PROPERTY & DAMAGE: - The Calnash Ag Event Centre isn't responsible for personal property that's lost, stolen, or damaged.
- I agree to reimburse the Centre for any damage, malicious or accidental, caused during my use.
SAFETY & REGULATIONS: - No motorized vehicles are allowed indoors without prior written consent.
- All users must comply with environmental laws, rules, and regulations.
- Ponoka Ag Event Centre may take measures to ensure the safety of the public, animals, and exhibitors.
- The Centre's equipment must only be operated by its employees or with written authorization.
- Parking regulations must be followed; violations may lead to fines or towing.
- Minors under 16 require adult supervision. Those under 18 may not ride a stallion during open events.
- Livestock traceability processes must be followed and documented. Proof may be requested.
- Overnight stabling requires 72-hour advance permission. No self-penning is allowed.
- Props such as barrels and jumps are permitted only with collective agreement.
- Cleaning up after animals assists in maintaining affordable use.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
I hereby release Calnash Ag Event Centre, its board members, agents, staff, partners and volunteers from any liability, loss, damage, or expenses due to my participation. I acknowledge my image may be used for promotional purposes and accept inherent risks in equestrian activities. If under 18, a parent/guardian's signature is necessary. The Centre may interrupt or terminate events for safety reasons. I also agree to indemnify the Centre against any third-party claims due to my actions.
FORCE MAJEURE:
The Calnash Ag Event Centre is not liable for uncontrollable events or situations like pandemics, extreme weather, strikes, etc.
I have read and understood this agreement in full and agree to its terms. |
