BOAT SAFETY AND RULES Age Limits- Anyone under the age of 18 shall be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Minor’s parent or legal guardian must sign Release and Waiver Form.
- Do not enter the water without a lifejacket on, engine turned off and key removed
Safety- Use of alcohol, illicit drugs or any other substances, which may impair judgement, is strictly prohibited.
- The Aluminum Row Boat has a 700-lb. capacity and can accommodate no more than three (3) people.
- Life jackets must be worn by children ages 13 and under. Children ages 14 and above, will be provided with life jackets but not required to wear them.
- Use of protective footwear is recommended.
- Fire extinguisher and life preserver are not to be used for any purposes except for an emergency.
- Do not stand in the Aluminum Row Boat.
- Make sure that each side of the Aluminum Row Boat is evenly distributed of weight and once the Aluminum Row Boat is in operation, refrain from switching seats.
- Do not swim or dive into the water.
- Fishing is not allowed.
- No pets are allowed on the Aluminum Row Boat except for trained service dogs.
- No alcohol is allowed.
- No smoking is allowed.
Boat Operation- Aluminum Row Boat entry and exit instruction will be provided.
- Maintain a distance of at least 15 feet from land area.
- We do not offer boating lessons but a staff member will show you the basics to get you started.
Emergencies- If you have an emergency while on the Aluminum Row Boat, immediately call the emergency phone number displayed. If it is a life threatening emergency call both 911 and the displayed phone number.
- Emergency whistles will be provided for the Aluminum Row Boat which are to be used in the
- event of an emergency only. The whistle should be blown three times to get the attention for
- assistance.
- If you fall out of the Aluminum Row Boat, please use the life preserver and call the emergency phone number displayed on the Aluminum Row Boat.
Environment/Wildlife- Stay clear of wildlife.
- Do not feed the wildlife.
- Docking anywhere other than at the designated docking pier, is prohibited.
- Do not litter.
- Be safe. Have fun.
ROW BOAT WAIVER In consideration of the usage agreement, Moana Roundhouse Operating Company, LLC (“Moana”), grants the undersigned referred to as Responsible Party, a non-exclusive, non-transferable use of the A12 Aluminum Row Boat (the “Row Boat”) on December 5, 2025. The Responsible Party certifies that they will operate the Aluminum Row Boat in accordance with all safety rules and regulation as indicated on the agreement, as provided by this office and posted on the Aluminum Row Boat, and further certifies that he/she has read and understands said rules and regulations. Equipment Care and Responsibility. I will return the Row Boat to Moana in the condition I received it. I understand that all equipment provided is in adequate condition for its intended purpose. Loss of Personal Property. I understand that Moana is not responsible for the damage or loss of any personal property that may occur during the use of the Row Boat. Responsible Party shall defend, indemnify and hold harmless Moana Roundhouse Operating Company, LLC, Sunset Development Company, a California corporation, 2600 CR, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, QuinnCo LLC, a California limited liability company and 2600 Camino Ramon Condominium Association and their respective lenders, officers, employees, vendors, contractors, invitees or licensees from and against any damage, loss, theft or destruction of any equipment or property and against all accidents and losses, liability and property or personal damages, injuries, claims, demands, action, causes, litigation or lawsuits, cost and expense of every kind and nature whether or not covered by insurance, including legal fees and disbursement arising out of an in connection with the use condition or operation of the Watercraft.
