Guest Liability, Consent & Safety Waiver

This waiver must be completed before entry.

All attendees must be 21 years of age or older. 

By entering this Carolina Confidential (“CC”) event, I acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following.

I affirm that I am at least 21 years of age and legally permitted to attend this event.


1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that this event may include:

• BDSM demonstrations

• impact play

• rope or restraint demonstrations

• sensual or erotic activities

• loud music, flashing lights, and crowded environments

I acknowledge that I may witness these activities and that my presence at the event serves as my consent to view such content.

I understand that nudity or partial nudity may occur only in designated areas or when approved by CC.


2. Personal Participation

I understand that:

• Participation in any play or demonstration is voluntary.

• I may decline any activity at any time.

• I must communicate my limits clearly to the Top or presenter.

• If I bottom for a House Top, play will be kept controlled and shallow.

• House Tops will NOT induce deep headspace, and I will not be placed into emotional or psychological states requiring aftercare, as CC does not provide aftercare services.

I agree that I participate at my own risk.


3. Consent Requirements

I agree to follow CC’s consent standards:

• No touching of any person, performer, Top, or guest without clear, verbal consent.

• No touching of equipment unless given permission by CC staff.

• No entering or interrupting a scene space without DM or House Top approval.

• No photography, video, or recording unless explicitly permitted and supervised by CC staff.

Consent is active, revocable, and mandatory at all times.


4. Anti-Harassment Agreement

I agree to treat all guests, performers, staff, and Tops with respect.

I will not engage in:

• harassment

• predatory behavior

• intimidation

• coercion

• unwanted physical or verbal contact

Violations of this policy may result in immediate removal without refund and possible permanent ban from future CC events.


5. Intoxication & Safety

I confirm that:

• I am not impaired by alcohol, drugs, or medications that limit judgment.

• I will not participate in play if intoxicated.

• I will not attempt to top or bottom while under the influence.

CC staff may remove me if intoxication presents a safety concern.


6. Medical & Physical Awareness

I certify that:

• I am responsible for my own physical and emotional safety.

• I have no medical conditions that would make participation unsafe OR I knowingly accept all risks.

• I will notify CC staff immediately if I experience distress or a medical concern.

I understand CC staff are not medical professionals.


7. Privacy & Confidentiality

I agree to:

• Protect the privacy of all attendees.

• Not reveal or discuss the identity or activities of any guest, Top, bottom, performer, or staff member outside this event.

What happens at Carolina Confidential stays at Carolina Confidential.


8. Official Photography & Media

I understand that official event photography or videography may occur.

I consent to being photographed or recorded by authorized Carolina Confidential personnel unless I have clearly indicated otherwise through designated event identifiers (such as red wristbands).

I understand that unauthorized photography by guests is strictly prohibited.


9. Venue Liability Disclaimer

I understand that the venue hosting this event, its owners, and its employees are not responsible for:

• injuries

• accidents

• lost or damaged property

• incidents arising from participation or observation

I release the venue from any liability related to my presence or participation at this event.


10. Right of Removal

I understand that CC reserves the right to:

• refuse entry

• end a scene

• remove any guest

• deny participation

for any reason related to safety, consent, intoxication, or disruptive behavior.

I agree to comply with all staff, House Tops, and Dungeon Monitors immediately.


11. Release of Liability

I release and hold harmless:

Carolina Confidential, LLC, its owners, staff, volunteers, performers, contractors, and venue partners

from any claims, injuries, damages, or losses arising from participation, observation, or presence at the event, including:

• accidental physical contact

• slips, falls, or environmental hazards

• interaction with equipment

• participation in demonstrations

• emotional or psychological responses

This release applies to me, my heirs, and any representatives.


12. Agreement to Follow Rules

I agree to follow all posted, written, and verbal rules.

Failure to comply may result in removal without refund.
