  • Parent/guardian information (for minors)

We collect this information to:

  • Process liability waivers
  • Verify participant eligibility
  • Communicate about your event or booking

3. Minors

Participants under 18 years of age must have a parent or legal guardian complete and sign the waiver. We collect minor information only for participation and safety purposes.

Waivers are stored securely through our digital waiver provider (SmartWaiver). We take reasonable steps to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security.

 5. Information Sharing

We may share information only when necessary:

  • With our insurance provider
  • If required by law
  • To defend legal claims

We do not share your information for marketing by third parties.

By signing below, I (the participant or thrower) acknowledge and agree to the following:

Safety Rules

  1. ONE THROWER • ONE AXE • EACH LANE 
  2. This is axe throwing, not juggling. Throw ONE axe at a time. 
  3. Pick up & place axes in the lane box when you are done, game over. 
  4. No alcohol, drugs, or impairment while throwing. 
  5. Closed-toe shoes required.
  6. No one may cross the 12-foot line (axes) or 10-foot line (knives).
  7. No horseplay, abusive language, or damaging property.
  8. Follow staff instructions at all times, or you will be asked to leave without refund.
  9. All participants must be 10 years old; under 18 must be with a parent/guardian.

Release of Liability

I understand axe throwing carries inherent risks, including serious injury or death. By signing, I release and hold harmless JediDreams LLC dba Southern Hatchets, its staff, owners, and affiliates from any liability for injury, loss, or property damage arising from my participation or spectating.

Assumption of Risk

I knowingly accept all risks involved, including cuts, falls, impact injuries, and risks from other participants. I authorize emergency medical care at my expense if needed.

Indemnification

I agree to defend and indemnify Southern Hatchets against any claims arising from my actions during participation or spectating.

Media Release

I grant permission for Southern Hatchets to use photos/videos of me for promotional purposes without compensation.

Legal Terms

This agreement is binding under South Carolina law. If a dispute arises, it will be settled in Dorchester County, SC, by binding arbitration.
