Guest Waiver

Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that participation in pottery-related activities at The Pottery Den includes, but is not limited to, the use of pottery wheels, hand-building tools, kilns, glazes, clay, sharp instruments, and other studio equipment. I acknowledge that these activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to cuts, burns, allergic reactions, slips, falls, or other injuries.

I voluntarily choose to participate and assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages that may occur as a result of my participation.

Release of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate as a guest at The Pottery Den, I hereby release, waive, and discharge The Pottery Den, its owners, employees, instructors, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, or liability arising out of or related to any injury, loss, or damage sustained while on the premises or participating in studio activities, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Studio Rules & Conduct

I agree to follow all studio rules, safety guidelines, and instructions provided by staff. I understand that failure to follow studio policies may result in removal from the studio without refund or further participation.

I acknowledge that:

  • Outside materials (including glazes or chemicals) are not permitted without prior approval.
  • I am responsible for cleaning my workspace and equipment after use.
  • Fired results are not guaranteed due to the nature of the ceramic process.

Medical & Allergy Disclosure

I certify that I am physically able to participate in pottery activities and have disclosed any relevant medical conditions or allergies that may affect my participation.

Photo & Media Release (Optional – include if applicable)

I grant permission to The Pottery Den to use photographs or videos taken during my visit for promotional or educational purposes unless I notify staff otherwise in writing.

No fee will be charged for such copy and no special hardware or software is required to view it.
