Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that operating or riding on a Jet Ski (also referred to as a personal watercraft) involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to collisions, falls, equipment failure, and water hazards.

I acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in these activities with full knowledge of the potential dangers and agree to assume all risks.

Safety & Compliance

I affirm that I have reviewed and understand the safety orientation provided by Beaver Skis staff.

I understand that Arkansas law mandates boater education for certain age groups. Anyone born on or after January 1,1986 must present a valid Arkansas Boating Education certificate or recognized equivalent. https://www.agfc.com/education/boater-education/

I confirm I meet the minimum age requirements 16+ years old to operate the Jet Ski and 18+to rent

Release of Liability

In consideration for the use of Beaver Skis’ equipment and services, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Beaver Skis, InSight Peer Support, its owners, employees, agents, or affiliates for any and all claims resulting in personal injury, accidents, illness (including death), and property loss arising from, but not limited to, my participation in this activity.


Indemnification and Hold Harmless

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Beaver Skis, InSight Peer Support, its owners, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, causes of action, damages, judgments, costs, or expenses, including attorney fees, which may in any way arise from my use of or presence on the rental property, equipment, or facilities.


Medical Fitness

I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently prepared or trained for participation in this activity, and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional. Each ski has a 500lb weight limit. The driver’s weight plus the rider’s weight cannot exceed 500lbs.

Equipment Responsibility

I agree to operate the Jet Ski safely and responsibly.

I acknowledge that a $500 security deposit is required per Jet Ski for any damages or late returns. I understand that I am responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.


Severability

If any portion of this waiver is deemed invalid, the remainder shall continue in full legal force and effect.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards and debit cards. No cash payments are allowed on federal land as per U.S. Army Corps of Engineers regulations.

Security Deposit

A $500 security deposit is required per Jet Ski rental to cover potential damage or late returns. This deposit will be a pre-authorization on your card until the equipment is returned in an acceptable condition. Any costs for damages beyond normal wear and tear will be deducted from the deposit and applied to your card.


Reservation Deposit and Final Payment

A deposit may be required at the time of booking. Deposits are non-transferable unless otherwise specified.

The balance is due at the time of scheduling the reservation through our online system. No refunds. In the event of bad weather, you will be rescheduled to a different date.

Refueling and Fuel Surcharge

Each Jet Ski is rented with a full tank of fuel. You may either refill it prior to return or opt to have Beaver Skis refuel. In such cases, a $25 per hour fuel surcharge will be charged to the same card used for the reservation.


Late Return Fees

A $10 per-minute fee will be charged for any Jet Ski returned past the agreed-upon return time. After 30 minutes the proper authorities will be notified.

Disputes

Any disputes regarding charges, deposits, or fees should be addressed within 7 days of receipt of the final invoice.

Standard Cancellations

Full Refund: Cancellations made 5 days or more before the reservation date qualify for a 100% refund.

No Refund: Cancellations made on the same day as the reservation or no-shows will not receive a refund.

Weather-Related Cancellations

In the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions (e.g., thunderstorms, high winds), Beaver Skis may offer a reschedule at no additional charge. If rescheduling is not possible for either party, we may issue a partial or full refund at our discretion.

Modifications

Changes to reservation dates or times (if available) can be made up to 48 hours before the start time. Additional fees or rate adjustments may apply depending on the request.

Forfeiture of Deposit

1. Cancellation Policy

o Cancel five days or more before your reservation for a full refund.

o Same-day cancellations or no-shows are non-refundable.

o Severe weather? We’ll help you reschedule at no extra cost whenever possible.

2. Deposit Policy

We’ll place a $500 hold on your credit or debit card as a security deposit; it will only be charged if there are damages or late fees.

  • Parent(s) or Court-Appointed Legal Guardian(s) must sign for any participating minor (those under 18 years of age) and agree that they and the minor are subject to all the terms of this document, as set forth above. Arkansas law does not specify a minimum age for passengers on a jet ski; however, it requires that all passengers must be able to sit properly on the seat and wear a U.S. Coast Guard–approved life jacket. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission recommends children be old enough to hold on securely, follow safety instructions, and maintain proper balance.
