Acknowledgment of Risk

I understand that operating or riding a Jet Ski (also referred to as a personal watercraft) involves inherent risks, including but not limited to collisions, falls, equipment failure, and water hazards.

I voluntarily choose to participate in these activities with full knowledge of the potential dangers and agree to assume all associated risks.

Safety & Compliance

I affirm that I have reviewed and understand the safety orientation provided by Beaver Skis staff.

I understand that Arkansas law requires boater education for certain individuals. Anyone born on or after January 1, 1986 must present a valid Arkansas Boating Education Certificate or a recognized equivalent:

I confirm that I meet all minimum age requirements:

  • 16 years or older to operate a Jet Ski
  • 18 years or older to rent

Release of Liability

In consideration for the use of Beaver Skis equipment and services, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and agree not to sue Beaver Skis, InSight Peer Support LLC, and their owners, employees, agents, or affiliates from any and all claims for personal injury, illness, death, or property damage arising from my participation in these activities.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Beaver Skis and InSight Peer Support LLC, including their owners, employees, agents, and affiliates, from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising from my use of the equipment or participation in these activities.

Medical Fitness

I certify that I am physically fit to participate in this activity and have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional.

I understand that each Jet Ski has a maximum weight limit of 500 lbs, and that the combined weight of the operator and any passenger must not exceed this limit.

Equipment Responsibility

I agree to operate the Jet Ski safely and responsibly at all times.

I understand that I am responsible for any damage beyond normal wear and tear.

I acknowledge that a $500 security deposit is required per Jet Ski for damages or late returns.

Payment Terms

Rental fees are due at the time of booking. A valid debit or credit card is required for pre-authorization.

Deposits are non-transferable unless otherwise specified.

All payments must be completed through the Beaver Skis online booking platform prior to the rental. No transactions are permitted on federal land in accordance with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers regulations.

Security Deposit

A $500 security deposit will be placed as a pre-authorization hold on my card for each Jet Ski rented.

I understand that:

  • The deposit will not be charged unless there are damages, fuel charges, or late fees
  • Any applicable charges will be deducted from the deposit and charged to my card

Fuel Policy

Each Jet Ski is provided with a full tank of fuel.

I agree to either:

  • Return the Jet Ski with a full tank, or
  • Authorize Beaver Skis to refuel it at a rate of $25 per hour of use

Late Return Policy

I agree to return the Jet Ski at the agreed-upon time.

I understand that:

  • A $10 per-minute fee will be charged for late returns
  • If the Jet Ski is more than 30 minutes late without communication, authorities may be notified.

Cancellations & Refunds

Standard Cancellations

  • Cancellations made 5 days or more in advance will receive a full refund
  • Same-day cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable

Weather Policy

  • In the event of unsafe weather (e.g., thunderstorms, high winds), Beaver Skis may offer rescheduling at no additional cost
  • If rescheduling is not possible, a partial or full refund may be issued at Beaver Skis’ discretion

Reservation Modifications

Reservation changes may be made up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time, based on availability. Additional fees or rate adjustments may apply.

Disputes

Any disputes regarding charges, deposits, or fees must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the final invoice.

Severability

If any portion of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Parent(s) or Court-Appointed Legal Guardian(s) must sign for any participating minor (those under 18 years of age) and agree that they and the minor are subject to all the terms of this document, as set forth above. Arkansas law does not specify a minimum age for passengers on a jet ski; however, it requires that all passengers must be able to sit properly on the seat and wear a U.S. Coast Guard–approved life jacket. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission recommends children be old enough to hold on securely, follow safety instructions, and maintain proper balance.
