SAFETY WAIVER

I agree to follow any and all safety rules and guidance posted or provided by instructors, range safety officers and Weapons Training & Fundamentals Academy, LLC staff.  I understand that I may be removed from the event if I do not follow the safety rules and guidance or if my behavior poses a risk to myself or others.

Safe Handling Procedures

Below are a list of the minimum safety rules that I must follow:

I will keep my gun pointed in a safe direction.

I will keep my finger off the trigger until I am on target, sights are aligned, and I’m ready to shoot.

I will treat ALL guns as if they are loaded and perform a clearance check EVERY time I pick one up.

I will be sure of my target, what is beyond it, to the left & right, and in front of it.

I will wear hearing protection and eye protection at all times while firing or on the firing line while others are firing.

I will follow the instructions of all range safety officers, instructors, assistant instructors.

I will not try and perform a movement I am physically unable to do, due to a physical limitation I have.

I understand that Weapons Training & Fundamentals Academy may remove me from the firing line and/or class if I demonstrate unsafe gun handling or become disruptive to maintaining a safe classroom and range environment.

Parent(s) or Court-Appointed Legal Guardian(s) must sign for any participating minor (those under 18 years of age) and agree that they and the minor are subject to all the terms of this document, as set forth above.
