Sawmill Camping Resort - Guest Rules and Regulations Revised and BoD Approved May 2024 Page 1 of 3 SAWMILL RESERVATION# / INVOICE #: _____________________ SITE NUMBER _________ The following rules are developed to ensure that all of our guests have a safe and enjoyable experience while visiting Sawmill Camping Resort. Please ask Campground Staff, Office Personnel, or General Manager for clarification if you have questions about any of the Campground’s rules and regulations. • No one under 21 years of age is allowed in the park. • Sawmill is a Private membership LGBTQ+ camping and residential resort, and everyone is welcome. Every guest must have a current and valid membership. Membership fees are non-refundable. • Check-in Time is 4:00 p.m. Checkout Time is 11am. If you plan to arrive outside normal check-in hours, please call us in advance to make special arrangements. We accept reservations and guarantee a site; however, we cannot guarantee a specific site. Sawmill reserves the right to move RVs to different locations with the same services. A late checkout fee of $100 may be imposed and vehicles and or property may be removed at owner’s expense. • Vehicles on Property with an expired Parking Pass or without a Parking Pass visibly displayed may be subject to towing and/or charges. All vehicles must be currently licensed. Guests must use their vehicle lights while driving at night. • Clothing is optional in most areas of the Resort with exception of the office / store / restaurant where clothing is always required. Signs are visibly posted indicating areas that are not. • The use, possession, or sale of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited. Alcoholic beverages are sold and consumed on the property. Excessive public intoxication will not be tolerated. Any guest becoming intoxicated and or causing a disturbance will be removed from the property and will have their membership revoked. Violations will be at the discretion of the General Manager. • Threats or abusive behavior toward any person is subject to immediate removal from the property and memberships revoked. No refunds or credits will be issued. No bullying, harassing, or threating behavior toward anyone at Sawmill will be tolerated. • The swimming pool is shallow and not attended by a lifeguard. Please observe all posted Pool Rules. • Paths and roadways are unpaved and uneven, roots and possible tripping obstacles may be present. Use caution while moving around the Resort. Failure to do so will result in a $100.00 charge. Waste dumping on the ground is prohibited. • If you have selected Sawmill Travel Insurance, in the unlikely event that you leave early, please inform our Lucy’s Staff and we will gladly credit your house account for unused days as a camp credit. Camp credits will only be valid for 60 days from your departure date. • You are liable for any damages caused to your assigned room(s), campsite(s) pool side gazebo(s), or other property caused by you or any persons in your party during your stay. You are responsible for your other guest’s behavior that are in your party or that you may invite in. A charge of up to or exceeding $350.00 will be assessed for any damage to a cabin including smoking violation. The Sawmill Resort reserves the right to retain your credit card and/or debit card details and charge or debit such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem fit on the said card(s) to compensate or make good of loss, damage, cost, or expenses incurred or suffered by the Sawmill Resort as a result of the aforementioned. By signing below/entering the property you agree and consent to being charged for any fees associated on the receipt by all rules listed. • All Cabins are NON-SMOKING. Any violation will be a $350 charge. • Controlled and ATTENDED wood burning campfires are permitted at your site. NO burning trash, cardboard, plastic, pre-treated wood etc. • No gas golf carts or gas all-terrain-vehicles are allowed. Only electric golf carts are allowed. Pedestrians always have the right of way. • Pets without a history of aggressive behavior are permitted. They are permitted in certain cabins with a $25.00 pet fee. Pets may not be left unattended at any time. All pets must be supervised, leashed, or contained at all times when outside. They must be licensed and vaccinated per Chapter 828, F.S. Florida Law; proof of such may be required. Exotic pets must be pre-approved in advance by management. Management reserves the right to require you to remove aggressive animals from the property. Guests are required to clean up after your pet. No pets are allowed in cabins (26-31). If you have an unauthorized pet without paying the pet fee you will be automatically charged a $350.00 fee. Only SERVICE ANIMALS specifically trained to aid a disabled person are allowed to enter pool area, courtyard, food establishments, nature trails, banana bathhouse and splash bathhouse. • NO fireworks, NO weapons, NO hunting is allowed. NO fishing is allowed at Ricki Lake. • Electric Vehicles, including plug-in hybrids charging is NOT allowed on any RV, Cabin, or Tent site, a $350 charge will be imposed for violation. • Hot Tubs are NOT allowed on any RV, Cabin, or Tent site. NO outdoor washing machines, or clotheslines are permitted. Failure to abide by the speed limit may result in removal from the Resort. • Public sex is strictly prohibited. • Sawmill Camping Resort is not responsible for any loss or damage to your vehicle(s) or personal property for any reason. • Quiet hours are observed from Sunday - Thursday 12:00am - 8:00am. Friday, Saturday, and Holidays 2:00am - 8:00am. Special events are excepted. • All Guests assume full responsibility for risk of bodily injury, death, or property damage or otherwise while in, on, or around the Sawmill Resort Campground, or from participating in activities. • One RV and one additional vehicle per site is permitted. No parking or using electric hookups or other services on an unoccupied RV, cabin, or tent site. Trailers such as U-hauls, utility trailers used for storage, boats, car trolly’s, and car trailers are not allowed on RV, Cabins or Tent sites. They MUST be stored in the designated parking lot between site #153 and the tenting area based on availability and or General Manager’ discretion. Guests will be advised at check-in of the $25.00 minimum weekly charge. • Do not affix anything in any manner to signage or infrastructure at the Sawmill Resort. One appropriately sized pop-up/canopy is allowed per site for weather protection. Temporary fences will be allowed to be erected for pet containment only on a guest’s site, as follows: A temporary small decorative fence no more than four feet in height, which does not block visibility. No fence can be attached to a tree or any structure or permanently installed. Sawmill will not repair or replace any fencing removed or damaged for any reason. • At the discretion of General Management, rules may be modified on a case-by-case basis as necessary. Violations of the Rules may result in you and your party being removed from the Resort and membership revoked. I have read and understand the above terms, and I agree to follow the rules listed above. I hereby authorize my credit/debit card on file to be charged for any incidentals covered herein.
