1. Who This Agreement Covers
This agreement is between you (the parent or legal guardian signing below) and Laro Tayo LLC. 1.2 It applies to each participating child you bring into the space today and on future visits. 1.3 You affirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the participating child(ren), or that you have been given permission by their legal guardian to bring them. 2. Visitors Using the Space
Even though our equipment is for up to 5 years old Laro Tayo welcomes all guests. 2.2 All children must have a signed waiver on file before entering the play space. 2.3 You are responsible for supervising your child(up to 16 years old) at all times. 2.4 Please follow our posted rules and listen to directions from staff. 2.5 Laro Tayo reserves the right to ask anyone to leave if safety rules are not followed or behavior puts others at risk. This includes children and adults.
3. Safety is Paramount and Guardian Assumes All Risks 3.1 Play involves movement, climbing, running, and interaction with others. Sometimes bumps, bruises, or injuries happen. 3.2. While we take best faith efforts to ensure the safety of all of our guests, we cannot predict or prevent certain occurrences that may happen. As such, we require that all parents or guardians completely assume any and all risks should an injury occur in the space. 3.3 By signing this agreement, you understand and acknowledge that you are knowingly and voluntarily choosing to let your child participate in a space that includes inherent risks.
4. Waiver of Liability for Space Usage 4.1 You agree not to hold Laro Tayo LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, or volunteers legally responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur during your visit, even if caused by ordinary negligence.
5. Health and Emergencies 5.1 If your child is sick (fever, cough, vomiting, contagious condition), please stay home and come back when everyone is feeling better. 5.2 If your child has allergies, medical conditions, or special needs, please tell our staff so we can support you. 5.3 If an emergency happens and we can’t reach you right away, you give us permission to:
1. Call 911 and request emergency medical help.
2. Allow medical professionals to treat your child. 3. Share relevant health or contact information with emergency responders.
4. You agree to be responsible for any medical bills resulting from emergency care.
6. What We’re Not Responsible For 6.1 While we do our best to keep everything safe and secure, we can’t guarantee a completely injury-free environment. 6.2 We’re not responsible for personal belongings that are lost, damaged, or stolen. Please keep valuables with you. 6.3 We expect everyone to be kind, respectful, and inclusive. If we notice behavior that is aggressive, unsafe, or disruptive, we may ask the family to leave for the day or suspend future visits.
7. Photos, Videos, and Privacy 7.1 Occasionally, we take photos or videos to promote Laro Tayo and show our community in action. 7.2 We will always ask your permission before using a clear image of your child in public materials. 7.3 You’re welcome to take photos of your own child, but please be mindful and respectful of others’ privacy.
8. Dispute Resolution 8.1 If a disagreement arises between you and Laro Tayo about this agreement or anything else related to your visit, we agree to try resolving it through a calm, respectful conversation first. 8.2 If we can’t resolve the issue informally, both parties agree to participate in mediation before pursuing any legal action. Mediation is a voluntary, confidential process where a neutral third party helps us find a fair solution. 8.3 Mediation will take place in Kent, Washington, located in King County, and both parties will share any associated costs equally.
9. Force Majeure Neither party shall be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under this Agreement due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, government actions, pandemics, and space malfunctions (ie. HVAC issues, plumbing issues, or power outages). Affected obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event.
10. Final Notes 10.1 Rules and Poilcy Before Entering the Playspace 1. We are a no-shoes facility. Please put shoes in the cubicles. Loaner slippers are also available. 2. Strollers stay and keep parked at the lobby next to the window. 3. Potty first, wash hands, or use hand sanitizer before playing. 4. No toys in our play tower to avoid getting hurt going downt he slide or keep from throwing toys at friends. 5. Food and drinks stay on tables only, away from area rugs and toys. 6. Yuck buckets are available on the walls for any mouthed or dirty toys. 10.2 This agreement applies to all current and future visits, unless revoked in writing. 10.3 If any part of this agreement is found invalid, the rest still applies. 10.4 By signing below, you agree that you’ve read, understood, and accepted all the terms. You’re signing voluntarily, and you know you can ask questions anytime.
