HIAWATHA HUNTING & FISHING CLUB Waiver and Release In consideration for being allowed to use the property and facilities owned and operated by the Hiawatha Hunting and Fishing Club, and intending to be legally bound, the undersigned on behalf of himself/herself, anyone entering the premises through or under the undersigned and each minor child listed below (if applicable) and their respective heirs, executors, administrators and assigns: 1. Agree that prior to using the property or facilities, he or she has inspected the property and facilities to be used and has found the area to be safe for use. If he or she believes anything is unsafe, he or she will immediately advise an officer of the Hiawatha Hunting and Fishing Club of such conditions and refuse to use the facilities or property. 2. Acknowledges and fully understand that he or she will be engaging in activities, including shooting sports, that by their very nature involve risk of serious injury, including permanent disability and death, and severe social and economic losses which result not only from his or her own actions, inactions, or negligence of others and agrees for the undersign, his or her heirs, executors, administrators and assigns to accept the risk of his or her actions or inactions or the actions and/or inactions of others, including but not limited to all inherent risks related to shooting sports whether such risks are foreseen or unforeseen at the time of execution of this Waiver and Release. The undersigned agrees and acknowledges that Hiawatha Hunting and Fishing Club shall not be liable to any person upon which the undersigned has executed this release by reason of the actions or inactions of persons of any third party. 3. The undersigned assumes all the foregoing risks including but not limited to, physical and emotional injury of any kind, loss of physical function, ability or capacity, medical expenses, lost wages or income, loss of consortium and any other compensatory damage and accepts sole responsibility for damages following such injury, permanent disability, or death on behalf of all persons for whom the undersigned has executed this Waiver and Release. 4. Agrees to indemnify and defend Hiawatha Hunting and Fishing Club or any of its services, agents, servants, agents, officers or employees from any and all claims, demands, actions or lawsuits for any personal injury, disability or death occurring to the undersigned, anyone entering the premises through or under the undersigned and each minor child listed below or any other person which result entirely or in party from the actions, failure to act, or negligence of the undersigned or minors for whom the undersigned has executed this Waiver and Release. 5. The undersigned and all minors designated below, intending to be legally bound, hereby releases, waives, discharges and covenants not to sue the Hiawatha Hunting and Fishing Club, all of whom are hereafter referred to as “Releasees” from demands, losses or damages on account of injury, including death, or damage to property, caused or alleged to have been caused in whole or in part by negligence of the “Releasees” or caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the action or inactions of Hiawatha Hunting and Fishing Club, any persons acting on behalf of the Hiawatha Hunting and Fishing Club, third persons or resulting from an incident occurring on or about the properties of Hiawatha Hunting and Fishing Club. THE UNDERSIGNED IS A COMPETENT ADULT WHO IS UNDER NO UNDUE INFLUENCE AND HAS VOLUNTARILY EXECUTED THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER AND AVERS THAT HE OR SHE IS THE LEGAL GUARDIAN OF AND HAS THE LEGAL AUTHORITY TO EXECUTE THIS WAIVER ON BEHALF OF ALL PERSONS REFERENCED HEREIN INCLUDING AND MINOR CHILD DESIGNATED HEREON AND HAS READ THE ABOVE WAIVER AND RELEASE AND UNDERSTANDS THAT BY EXECUTING THIS DOCUMENT HE OR SHE GIVES UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS. FURTHER IT IS ESPECIALLY CLEAR TO THE UNDERSIGNED THAT HE OR SHE IS WAIVING THE RIGHT TO MAKE ANY CLAIM OR SUE HIAWATHA HUNTING AND FISHING CLUB, ITS AFFILIATES AND ALL PERSONS ACTING ON BEHALF OF HIAWATHA HUNTING AND FISHING CLUB FOR ANY CLAIMS INCLUDING THOSE ORIGINATING IN NEGLIGENCE OR PREMISES LIABILITY.
Range and Safety Rules Range Hours: - Monday - Sunday 8am to Sunset
General Range Rules Ranges are for the use of Hiawatha Hunting & Fishing Club members only! All members are requested to check any person using the range to ensure that he or she is a club member. - Members must sign in at the club house before using the ranges or property.
- Guests of members must be supervised at all times.

- Minors must be accompanied by an Adult at all times.
- Always keep your firearm/bow pointed in a safe direction.
- Always keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire.
- Always keep your firearm/bow unloaded until ready to use.
- Know your target and what's beyond.
- All firearms must have a safety flag in the chamber while not being used on the bench, be unloaded and must be pointed down range.
- ONLY shoot at targets inside the designated backstop boundaries, NOT ANYTHING ELSE.
- While hunting only shoot at legally authorized game in Pennsylvania and during Pennsylvania published hunting seasons and nothing else.
- Members hunting on the property must have a current Pennsylvania hunting license and any required permits, tags, and/or stamps.
- Use only approved ammunition, NO armor piercing (green or black tips), tracers (red tips) or incendiary rounds (blue or silver tips).
- No rapid fire, double and triple taps acceptable with 3 seconds in between strings.
- No firearm may be fired on club property in full automatic mode.
- No Bump Stocks allowed.
- No drawing from a holster without permission.
- No angled shots! All shots must be straight at the backstops. Only shoot at your own target.
- Clean up, Sweep up, Take down targets and Put brass in buckets, Trash in the garbage.
- Put misfires in the DUD can.
- Trap Range: Must follow ATA trap rules.
- No 50 BMG ammunition allowed at any time.
I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE RANGE SAFETY RULES. AT ALL TIMES I WILL FULLY COMPLY WITH ALL OF THE ABOVE RANGE SAFETY RULES. HIAWATHA HUNTING & FISHING CLUB RANGE SAFETY RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
