Your 2-Week Writing Program — Guidelines 1. No live classes. This is a self-paced program. There are no scheduled sessions or live meetings. Watch the strategy videos and read the resources before you start practicing. The order matters — the practice only works if you understand the system first. 2. Start with Build a Sentence. Do this before anything else. It trains sentence-level accuracy, which is the foundation of everything that comes after. Don't skip it because it looks basic — it's not. 3. Always use Training Mode first — not Exam Mode. Training Mode is where you build the skill. You get full feedback, up to 4 attempts, and your score after every submission. Only switch to Exam Mode once the structure feels natural. Don't jump into timed conditions before you're ready. 4. Each question gives you up to 4 attempts. Use all of them. Don't move on after attempt 1 just because the feedback looks okay. The improvement happens between attempts. Submit, read the feedback carefully, rewrite, and watch your score go up. 5. The feedback you receive is not generic AI feedback — and this is the most important thing to understand about this program. Three AIs were specifically trained by Sherlen to reflect her exact teaching methodology. This is not a system that pulls from general data or gives the same comment to every student. It thinks the way Sherlen thinks. It catches what she catches. It tells you exactly what is wrong, why it is wrong, and what you need to do to fix it — the same way she would in a live session. When you read your feedback, you are reading Sherlen's methodology applied directly to your response. Treat it that way. Read every word carefully. Don't skim it. Spend around 30 minutes going through the feedback before moving to the next question. Focus on every mistake, understand why it is a mistake, then retake the same question and see what actually changed in your score. 6. Stuck on Academic Discussion? Use the Instant Ideas prompt to get your thinking started — it's there to give you a direction, not to write the response for you. The words and ideas need to come from you. That's how you build real fluency. 7. Ask Sherlen questions only after you have done the work first. Watch the videos. Read the resources. Submit your attempts and read the feedback in full. Many questions answer themselves once you go through the material carefully. When you do reach out to Sherlen, make sure it is a question the videos and feedback didn't already cover — that way her time goes toward what actually moves you forward. 8. No refunds once the platform is open. Because this is a digital program, access cannot be reversed once it is granted. Please make sure you are ready to commit before you begin. 9. The program starts Sunday, March 14th at 7:00 PM PST. Sherlen will prepare a personal video reviewing your writing after she sees at least 5 emails and 5 Academic Discussion responses submitted during the two-week period. The video is personal — it is based on your actual work, not a general overview. 10. Your window closes April 28th. After that date, the platform stays open and you can continue practicing, but Sherlen will not be available to answer questions or record a new video. Everything she offers personally happens within this two-week period. Do the work while the window is open — don't wait until the last few days. |
