THE RENTER AGREES TO AND UNDERSTANDS THE FOLLOWING:



 Renter is aware that the operation of a Boat or PWC (Personal Water Craft) can be a hazardous activity and may pose a risk of serious injury and/or death to renter, as the operator, and passengers. 


 Rental is for Inland lakes only and day operation. Great Lakes and/or night operation are prohibited.


 Renter agrees to wear a U.S. Coast Guard Approved Personal Flotation Device, including a life vest and/or belt and if necessary, all appropriate cold weather riding apparel, including a well suit.


 Operators of rental boat or PWC agree not to be under the influence of any narcotics, alcohol, hallucinogens, or anything that impairs his/her faculties.


Renter understands that Boyne Recreational Rentals, Boyne USA, Inc., the State of Michigan and any Departments, Boards, Agencies, Commissions, Officers, and Employees are not responsible in the event that renter/operator, passenger, or other person(s) is injured as result of the operation of said Boat or PWC.


Renter agrees that he/she is responsible for the Boat or PWC in the event that it is damaged, lost, or stolen.


Renter agrees to obey all laws while operating the Boat or PWC and will take responsibility for any tickets or infractions issued to renter or operator(s) of said rental Boat or PWC.


Renter acknowledges that training is required to operate Boat or PWC and proper training was provided by Boyne Recreational Rentals prior to operating said rental.


Renter understands the hazardous risks of operating a Boat or PWC and assumes All liability that could arise out of their operation of rental Boat or PWC as well as All liability for any person(s) they allow to operate or ride on said rental vehicle.


Boyne Recreational Rentals does not permit towing of person(s) behind Boat or PWC. Renter assumes all liability for personal injuries and/or death arising from any towing of person(s) if boat rental is used for any towing activity.
