WAIVER By my signature below, I, along with my agents, assigns, executors and administrators, in exchange for being allowed to enter and use the facilities, shooting range and/or other products or services of Green Top Shooting Range LLC (“GTSR”), do now absolutely and unequivocally release and hold harmless GTSR, its agents, lessor, officers, employees, instructors, assigns, owners and successors from any claim, demand, injury or liability, whether claimed by myself or another, arising out of such use of GTSR facilities, products or services. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK I am fully aware that there are substantial risks to my person in the use of firearms, ammunition, indoor ranges and related products or services, and that these risks include gunshot wounds caused by myself or by another, or by ricochets, inhalation of lead vapor or other poisons, and damage to my hearing from the high sound levels, or to my vision or skin from gunshot flashes, and other risks not listed herein. By participating in activities at GTSR, I understand and assume all such risks on my own behalf and on behalf of any individual accompanying me. I take full responsibility for my own safety, and the safety of any minor accompanying me. I understand that if I am pregnant or believe I may be pregnant, I am not allowed on the range. I understand that persons under thirteen (13) years of age are not permitted on the range at any time. If anyone under the age of twenty-one (21) is in my party, I accept full responsibility for their actions and safety, and assume the risk of any injury caused by or to such individual. As a condition of being allowed to use the GTSR facilities, Guest agrees acknowledges and understands that his/her license to use the GTSR range is for personal recreational use only. Because GTSR offers a wide variety of classes taught by our certified instructors, any Guests found to be using the facilities at GTSR in a for-profit venture or in any way in conflict with the mission of GTSR, may be asked to leave without refund. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RANGE RULES By my signature below, I acknowledge that I have read, understand, and agree to follow the below range rules, and any other range rules posted at the GTSR facilities. I understand that such rules may be changed from time to time, and that, in the event of a conflict, posted range rules shall apply. I understand and agree that any violation of these rules may result in my immediate and/or permanent removal from GTSR property. SAFETY RULES 1. Always treat every gun as if it were loaded, even if recently cleared. 2. Always keep the muzzle pointed in a safe direction. Never point a firearm, even unintentionally, at another person or yourself. 3. Always keep your finger off the trigger and out of the trigger guard until ready to fire. 4. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it. 5. Eye and ear protection must be worn at all times on the range. 6. No handling of firearms may occur outside the shooting booth; all unholstered or uncased firearms must stay in the booth. 7. Only one (1) person may fire or handle a firearm at the firing position at a time. 8. All firearms must be cased, holstered or cleared by the Range Safety Officer (“RSO”) when entering or exiting the range. 9. No one may be forward of the firing line without permission of the RSO. 10. No tobacco, food or beverages are allowed on the range. 11. No one in possession of, or reasonably perceived to be under the influence of, alcohol or drugs is allowed on the range. 12. Children under 21 must be supervised by an adult over the age of 21. Up to two (2) persons over 21 years of age may be assigned to each lane, or a parent and their two (2) minor children over 13. 13. Open wounds or injuries must be covered while on the range. 14. If you experience any problem while on the firing line, leave your firearm in the shooting booth, pointed downrange, and contact the RSO. 15. Only persons Holster Certified by GTSR personnel may draw and shoot from a holster, and must follow GTSR Holster Rules. EQUIPMENT RULES 16. All firearms, equipment, ammunition and techniques are subject to inspection and approval. 17. Black powder firearms are prohibited. 18. Full lead projectile, steel core, steel jacketed, steel tipped or tracer ammunition is prohibited. (Lead exceptions are rimfire & shotgun ammo) 19. Any device that increases the rate of fire of a weapon is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to, bump stocks, forced reset triggers, and binary triggers. 20. No rifle sling use is permitted on the range. 21. All firearms must have sights. 22. All shotguns must have full stocks; Allowed shotgun ammo is 00, 000 & slugs; Slugs only on barrels shorter than 18in. BEHAVIORAL RULES 23. Any unsafe, disruptive or combative behavior will result in removal from the range. 24. RSO instructions must be followed at all times. All RSO decisions are final. 25. Profane or offensive language is prohibited, included printed on clothing or equipment. 26. Sustained rapid fire is not permitted, and must be limited to 3-5 shot strings. 27. Filming or photographing anyone without their permission is prohibited. 28. Camera strobes and flashes are prohibited. 29. Do not shoot the walls, ceiling or range equipment. 30. Clean up only your brass. Do not remove brass from the buckets or brass left by other shooters. |
