I acknowledge that I am familiar with the basic rules of firearm safety and that those basic rules have been explained to me. I agree to follow all of the basic rules of firearm safety during my visit to 2nd Amendment Guns and during the use of its range and facilities. The safe use of firearms requires that I understand and agree to the following: 2ND AMENDMENT RANGE RULES Shooting range customers must follow all posted range rules. All firearms must be unloaded, cased, or holstered upon entering the facility. Permitted CCW's are welcome. Failure to follow these rules may result in removal from range and/or property and could result in loss of shooting privileges. Four Universal Firearm Safety Rules - Treat every weapon as if it were loaded.
- Never point a weapon at anything you are not willing to shoot.
- Keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.
- Know your target, what is in line with your target and what is beyond your target.
Range Rules - Always wear safety glasses and hearing protection while in the range.
- Children must be at least 8 years of age to be allowed on the shooting range. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parents or guardians and supervised at all times. Rules broken by minors will reflect on the parent or guardian and you will be held responsible.
- Tracer, Armor piercing, Incendiary Rounds and all other ammunition containing steel are prohibited. Rifle caliber rounds larger than .308 or rounds faster than 3,600 FPS are prohibited.
- Never bring a loaded firearm in or out of the shooting range. Unless you are legally open carrying, or concealed carrying.
- Firearms must be either in a holster, or unloaded in a case while entering or exiting the range.
- Range Safety Officers reserve the right to inspect all firearms and ammunition for safety considerations.
- Firearms must be pointed down range at all times while in your assigned shooting lane.
- Firearms, Magazines, and Speed Loaders must be loaded at the firing line.
- All firearms not being used on your assigned shooting bench must be unloaded, magazine removed, with the muzzle facing down range, action open or use a chamber flag.
- Firearms must be loaded at the firing line only.
- If you wish to present/draw from the holster, you must be qualified by the Range Staff.
- Shooting from the hip is prohibited.
- Do not cross the yellow and black line. No one other than the Range Safety Officer may go forward of the firing line.Crossing the line will result in your removal from the range.
- Report any unsafe activity of conditions to the Range Safety Officer or Manager immediately.
- If your gun malfunctions and you don't know how to fix it, lay it on the shooting bench facing down range and notify the Range Safety Officer.
- When the command "Cease Fire" is given or you see “Red Flashing Lights”, stop shooting immediately and wait for further instructions from the Range Safety Officer.
- Commands issued by the Range Safety Officers and Range Personnel must be obeyed immediately.
- Dry practice is allowed only on the firing line.
- One person shooting per lane only.
- Fire at authorized targets only. Use the appropriate size target, placed at eye level, to ensure your shots strike the backstop and not the floor, ceiling, or target holder.
- Firing a shot on the range that results in the bullet striking anything other than the target and/or backstop, creating any damage, may result in a damage or repair fine and/or your removal from the range.
- Only shoot at your target, cross firing of targets is prohibited.
- You can not collect brass. ALL brass must remain in the range at 2nd Amendment Guns. (Revolvers dump spent casings on the floor) (Brass catchers on rifles are not allowed.) Sorry for the inconvenience, but the money from selling the brass and lead help pay for the HEPA range filters and other Range maintenance to keep the Range open.

Anyone believed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused the use of the range.
