RESERVATIONS POLICY

WATERSPORTS CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY


All cancellations must be made at least 4 hours prior to your trip’s scheduled departure time. To place a cancellation, please call (850) 899-4809 and refer to the confirmation number at the top of your confirmation document. Failure to place a cancellation at least 4 hours in advance will result in your credit card being charged the full amount of the reserved trip. No refunds will be issued for reservations canceled within 4 hours of departure. Failure to show up for the reserved trip or rental without cancellation will result in no refund. If Salty Fish Excursions® cancels a trip for any reason, every effort will be made to reschedule the trip during your stay near Port St. Joe, FL. If you are unable to reschedule, you will have the option of receiving a voucher for a future trip or receiving a full refund. 

TICKETING AND BOARDING INFORMATION


For Salty Fish Excursions®, arriving at least 15 minutes before the departure time mentioned in your email confirmation is essential. 


Please note that Panama City and St. Andrews are in the Central Time Zone, while Port St. Joe, Apalachicola, and Cape San Blas are in the Eastern Time Zone. 


Please make sure to arrive at the dock at the specified time as all trips will depart promptly. If any unforeseen events do arise, please call or text us at (850)899-4809 to inform us of any delay. However, please note that we may not be able to accommodate your delay, as we may have scheduled trips before or after your reservation.


On the day of your trip, you will be asked to present your confirmation email (printed or via phone) and a valid government-issued photo ID. Please ensure you bring both of these documents to avoid any inconvenience. 


All guests must have a basic understanding of the English language to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Are Gratuities included in the ticket price?


Gratuities are not included in the price of the tour, but can be added to your online account or prepaid before your trip. The amount of gratuity is at your discretion, but typically ranges from 15%-20%.

WEATHER CONDITIONS


Salty Fish Excursions® prioritizes the safety of its customers above all else. While a light rain shower won't be considered a deterrent, the company doesn't operate in unsafe weather conditions. The Captain will assess the weather conditions before each tour, and if it's deemed unsafe, the tour may be postponed or canceled. In the event of cancellation by Salty Fish Excursions® for any reason, the company will make every effort to reschedule the trip during your stay near Gulf County. If rescheduling isn't possible, you can choose to receive a voucher for a future trip or opt for a full refund.

Captain Christopher Lewis and Salty Fish Excursions LLC require that each charter participant and the parent or guardian of minor participants be familiar with and agree to the following legally binding waiver. If you have any questions regarding the contents, please get in touch with Captain Christopher Lewis before signing. This form must be completed before the charter begins. In consideration of being allowed to participate in the charter, related events, and related activities, I, the undersigned, acknowledge and agree that:

  1. I understand the risk of injury from the activities involved in boating and associated activities may be significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death.
  2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL KNOWN AND UNKNOWN RISKS for myself and my minor children; I understand that I have a duty to exercise reasonable care for my own safety, and I agree to do so. I assert that I am physically fit to snorkel and ride on a boat, and I will not hold (Captain Christopher Lewis or other Captain/First Mate of Salty Fish Excursions LLC ) or other crew members and assume full responsibility for my participation.
  3. I willingly agree to comply with the policies, terms, and conditions for participation. If I observe any unusual significant hazards during my presence or participation, I will remove myself and those I am responsible for from participation and bring it to the attention of the Captain immediately.
  4. It is my intention by this instrument to give up my right to all persons or entities referred to herein, whether specifically named or not, and it is also my intention to exempt and release all released parties and to hold these entities harmless from any and all liability for personal injury, property damage or wrongful death caused by negligence or gross negligence and I assume all risk in connection with snorkeling and boating activities including but not limited to catered food and drinks, maintenance of the equipment or organization of this activity.
  5. Alcohol may be aboard. Illegal substances are disallowed. Adult guests (21+) are responsible for their own choices/behavior and guarding against underage drinking.
  6. I give Salty Fish Excursions LLC (saltyfishexcursions.com) permission to use photos, videos, and voices of adults or minors for advertising purposes without any expectation of compensation or other remuneration.

I further agree that this waiver shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Florida, USA, and the venue for any legal proceeding or lawsuit relating to this waiver shall be in Gulf County, Florida.

I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND I HAVE GIVEN UP CERTAIN RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT INDUCEMENT.
