Tourist Rules: Vaccinations:
All visiting dogs must be up-to-date with vaccinations, including: - Proof of vaccination must be provided before the first day of daycare. Dogs without current vaccinations cannot attend.
Medical Conditions:
Any existing medical issues must be disclosed prior to attendance. We may require additional instructions to accommodate your dog safely. Behavioural Assessment: - While no trial is required for tourist dogs, we need to discuss your dog’s behaviour before they join a group.
- If our team feels your dog may not be comfortable in a group setting, they may be placed in a solo pen to ensure their wellbeing.
Age and Health: - Dogs must be at least 3 months old and in good general health.
- Desexing is not required for tourist dogs; however, we reserve the right to assess behaviour and safety for all dogs regardless of desexed status.
Socialization:
Dogs must be comfortable around other dogs and people. We reserve the right to refuse service to any dog that exhibits unsafe or disruptive behaviour. Personal Items:
We recommend leaving toys, beds, and other items at home. Ultimutt is not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings. Personal items can be given to be used in a solo pen. Food & Treats:
Any food or treats must be provided by the owner, clearly labelled, and sealed. Please notify us of allergies or dietary restrictions. Emergency Contacts:
An emergency contact number and veterinary contact information must be provided for your dog.
Tourist Waiver & Liability Release: Acknowledgment of Risk:
You understand that there are inherent risks in a daycare environment, including injury or illness from interactions with other dogs or environmental factors. Medical Emergencies:
In the event of an emergency, you authorize Ultimutt Doggy Daycare to contact an emergency clinic and agree to be responsible for any associated costs. Behavioural Issues & Solo Pen: If your dog is uncomfortable in a group or exhibits unsafe behaviour, Ultimutt reserves the right to place them in a solo pen. Release of Liability:
You release Ultimutt Doggy Daycare, its owners, employees, and volunteers from any liability for injuries, illnesses, or damages resulting from your dog’s participation in daycare services. Damage to Property:
Ultimutt is not responsible for any damage to your dog’s personal property (collars, leashes, toys, etc.). Publicity Release:
You consent to Ultimutt using photos or videos of your dog for promotional purposes unless you notify us otherwise in writing. Indemnity:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ultimutt Doggy Daycare and its staff from any claims arising out of your dog’s participation. Termination of Attendance:
Ultimutt reserves the right to terminate a dog’s participation at any time if we feel it is in the best interest of the dog or the group. September 5, 2025
