Bike Rental Agreement

This agreement is entered into on Wednesday May 8, 2024 between Kingsville Cycle Works, hereinafter referred to as the "Owner," and Graeme Deans, hereinafter referred to as the "Renter," for the rental of a bicycle located at [Rental Location Address].

1. Rental Period: The rental period shall commence on Wednesday May 8, 2024at11am and terminate on Wednesday May 8, 2024 at 5pm

2. Rental Fee: The Renter agrees to pay the Owner a rental fee of $55.00 for the entire rental period. Payment shall be made in advance upon the commencement of the rental period.

3. Security Deposit: The Renter agrees to provide a security deposit of $250.00 to the Owner upon signing this agreement. The security deposit will be refunded to the Renter upon return of the bicycle in the same condition as when rented, normal wear and tear excepted.

4. Condition of Bicycle: The Owner represents that the bicycle is in good working condition at the time of rental. The Renter agrees to inspect the bicycle prior to use and notify the Owner of any existing damage or defects.

5. Responsibility of Renter: The Renter agrees to use the bicycle in a safe and responsible manner, obeying all traffic laws and regulations. The Renter assumes full responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage to the bicycle during the rental period.

6. Liability Waiver: The Renter acknowledges and agrees that the Owner shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage, whether direct or consequential, arising out of the use of the bicycle.

7. Return of Bicycle: The Renter agrees to return the bicycle to the Owner at the end of the rental period in the same condition as when rented, normal wear and tear excepted.

8. Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada.

9. Entire Agreement: This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Owner and the Renter and supersedes all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.

10. Signature: By signing below, the parties acknowledge that they have read and understood all the terms and conditions of this agreement.
